Severe infrequent asthma attack
Hi,Has anyone had infrequent (twice in 2 years in my partners case) severe asthma attack where the inhaler does not work? What causes it? What do you do? How do you manage it? Paramedics put it down to anxiety attack as she was fine by the time they turned up. Is there a chance of it happening again?

shortness of breath
I constantly get short of breath. I mean all the time, not the kind that’s bad enough to use my inhaler but for an example today I went outside to water the plants and I found myself short of breath, sometimes it gets bad enough for me to grab my inhaler but most of the time I just don’t because it’s

Asthma or something more sinister?
So I'm mid asthma diagnosis at the moment, I'm on a steroid inhaler twice a day after having, what I assume was an asthma attack whilst on holiday in Rome. Long story short I tried a dodgy vape pen whilst out there that immediately gave me an allergic reaction (very smart I know)Ever since that ill

Is it possible to have a wheeze but not have asthma?
I don’t have an official diagnosis of asthma but 3 times when I have been running strangers have told me that I have been wheezing. The most prominent example was 4 years ago I was running a 3 mile race and a girl who I didn’t know was overtaking me and as she went past said ‘are you ok, do you have

Advice on increasing Pred for breathlessness and persistent cough
My GP told me that breathlessness is a symptom of PMR, so I can't seek her advice on how to manage this cough etc. Some people are saying that Eris Covid is around and it presents as a bad cough which does not show up as positive on home covid testing kits. I have had a persistent productive cough

I take 3
inhalers
, montalukas and fexofenadine but this isn’t controlling it now. Just been put on carbocisteine to help clear my lungs. Hoping things improve and I get to the cause of this three month flare up.

I can't find any information about specific

and their ingredients on the asthmalunguk website. Many thanks (new to being diagnosed with asthma, despite having problems for years!)

Any one else have tinnitus after taking the antibiotic Clarithromycin?
for a month now I have had some chest issues so I went to the clinic doctor a few weeks ago. Was told I had acute bronchitis and wasn’t prescribed anything. However over the next few days I felt worse so I went to another clinic doctor for a second opinion. This doctor gave me 500mg of Clarithromycin

Atorvastatin
Ive found that taken at night my dose causes morning headaches which are not alchol related!! Taken in the morning with other meds causes no adverse effects, well at least nothing noticable. I also take steroids & inhaler for copd and Amlodipine for raised BP along with Omeprazole for gut protection

switching to relvar from pulmicort
I am on Pulmicort 100 2 puffs twice a day my Asthma nurse has suggested that I change to relvar 184 to try and control the severe oral thrush I continually get, I’m a bit dubious as I rarely need to use a reliever and in the winter I am able to reduce the Pulmicort to 1 puff twice a day. Also I have

Question re adrenal saliva test and asthma steroids
Hello, I plan to buy an adrenal cortisol saliva test from Regenerus ( Hidden think you're right and I need to know where I'm at). I use a steroid inhaler for asthma and see that Regenerus suggests not taking it 5 days in advance - not possible unless they would be happy with the drool from a

Advice re pulmonary fibrosis
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding medication,
inhalers
etc. that might ease things. All the medics have said is that it’s incurable and will only get worse which is no help at all.

Change of prescription
My doctor is changing my prescription from Braltus to Anoro. Has anyone using this inhaler noticed an improvement in their breathing. I would welcome any advice. Thanks.
