My doctor is changing my prescription from Braltus to Anoro. Has anyone using this inhaler noticed an improvement in their breathing. I would welcome any advice. Thanks.

Change of prescription
Hi Esther,
It is very common that doctors change inhaler prescriptions, to find out (shop around) which work well for for you and which do not.
I am not a doctor, but it looks like the new inhaler is a combination of 2 ingredients
Good luck
Hello, yes i used Anoro and it really helped my breathing. I hope you get on ok with it.
I am now on a different one that has a steroid in, but Anoro is not a steroid.
I was using Anoro early 2022 when a specialist changed the script to Trimbow. I went gasping and short of breath until March when I asked my GP to put me back to Anoro. I've been absolutely fine since!
They had to change my inhaler as they couldn't source the one my consultant put me on. After a few changes, as I don't have asthma I don't need a steroid one, I've settled into Anoro. Yes it's two ingredients and a dry powder. Rinse your mouth out with water after using. It's been great for me so I won't want to be changing anytime soon.Lesley xx
My prescription has just been changed from Braltus to Anoro. I am on day 3 and and sure there is a difference, I don't seem as breathless as I was
Hi I’ve been on Anoro for years not noticed any improvement in my breathing. Lately my feels like it’s getting worse. Then again I e tried lots of inhalers over the last 10 years none helped on a day to day basis. I’m not sure there’s even meant to I’ve never found one that did.
