I plan to buy an adrenal cortisol saliva test from Regenerus ( Hidden think you're right and I need to know where I'm at).
I use a steroid inhaler for asthma and see that Regenerus suggests not taking it 5 days in advance - not possible unless they would be happy with the drool from a corpse.😁
What do people do, just go ahead and ignore the recommendations? Does anyone know how the steroids affect the results?
Thanks.

If you use your inhaler every day then your cortisol level on those days that you use it is "normal for you".
So, just carry on with your inhaler as normal. I would suggest not timing things so that you use the inhaler immediately before producing a saliva sample though. Delay your inhaler until immediately after you've produced a saliva sample.
To have to do without the inhaler (I use Fostair) for 5 days would be totally unacceptable and probably quite dangerous. I did the Medichecks saliva cortisol tests which didn’t mention anything about inhalers, but I did the tests well away from them anyway.
