No change to my
inhalers
, relvar, spiriva, montelukast tablets, salbutamol inhaler and nebules. I am trying to cut down on caffeine, up non caffeinated fluids and trying to eat healthily and walk on the flat for 20 minutes a day.

Long Covid and Breathlessness
He gave me the brown and blue
inhalers
to try which made a significant difference. Consultant suspects breathlessness may be related to Covid. Awaiting an appointment with a respiratory specialist. Any thoughts from you good people

Mannitol challenge
My spirometry and FeNO tests were ok as before (although I hadn’t been asked not to take
inhalers
prior to testing 🤷🏻♀️).

Asthmatic run this a.m.
W4r2 I took my inhaler this morning but first 3 min run was a struggle after that it settled and was OK. Wonder if I am starting off too quickly. Will make an effort to stay slow. Otherwise legs fine. Ready to go again!

Does peak flow increase in non asthmatics following ventolin?
Say someone has no classic symptoms of asthma (wheezing, breathlessness or coughing). Peak flow has always been low their whole life but has a small variation everyday (290- 330). Spirometry is normal (including above average fev1). No change in peak flow following a 5 week steroid inhaler trial. Can

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
GP suggested different
inhalers
(dry powder) but both contained lactose & I am allergic to milk. I’m at a loss what to do to stop it continually happening. Can anyone suggest anything please that might help?

Thanks to all who replied to my recent post about the switch from Ventolin. Seems inhaler technique is all important so will watch that. With regard to the environment, 2 years ago we made a diet change only meat we eat is chicken, no more than twice a week, the least polluting of all meats to produce

Costochondritis
I had a bad cough with a chest infection (in my opinion). The third time this year. On previous 2 occasions, I was given 30mg pred per day for 5 days and an antibiotic, and chest cleared each time. I have been in contact with covid, but have not had +ve test. This time I was not given, I was refused

problems after ablation
my husband had his ablation on 12th June and has had problems every since. He didn’t have any episodes in the year leading up to it but was advised to have it as he can’t tolerate the medication. He has been getting episodes every day then 6 weeks post ablation developed a chronic cough and breathing

Stopping Fostair
Im absolutely fed up with the side effects I get with Fostair Nexthaler and most other
inhalers
and as my GP wont change it im stopping it. I only take 1 puff of 200/6 in the evening so if I need to taper it how can i do so. Im thinking of perhaps taking it every other day

back on line!
And I still haven’t apart from the fact that after spending a lot of money having a private consultation with a heart and lung guy and several different
inhalers
I am still as short of breath as ever. In fact more so. But hey ho I made it to my 88th birthday last week which is a positive.

Thank you - to all you weird and wonderful people in this community!
and hands ---and my new one - now I think my jaw, which is causing tooth sensitivity, nerve pain and an 'off' bite ---felt guilty for bothering the doctors again to get yet another short term steroid course, but then it sends me bananas with anxiety, no sleep, irritability when I do. teh same with

Any advice?
Hi guys, sorry to be a total let down. I have cirrhosis and TIPS stent fitted 8 years ago. I have battled the booze many times and last periosd of sobriety was 19 months, at the moment it has got hold of me again and I need to stop. Getting delivery from Deliveroo of 10 cans of lager a day, its not much

Tezepelumab/Spirometry with Reversibility
Hi, hope everyone is managing well. I’m just looking to hear others experiences if possible. I’m quite complex and don’t show a high FeNO and spirometry is normal and my asthma is driven by neutrophils for inflammation. Best peak flow is 440, hovering around 220-350 - 220 is pre meds in the morning

DUORESP SPIROMAX
In the middle of changing
inhalers
. Tried Fostair but has not worked at all for me. I am now going to be trying DUORESP SPIROMAX. I have never heard of this but respiratory nurse thinks it is worth a try. Has anyone used this and how have they got on with it please? Many thanks for any replies.

Inhaler technique
I have had COPD/ asthma for decades. Moderate severity but a bad winter of infections last year. On referall recently was asked about how I used inhaler. I had always before been told I had good technique. This time told when using aerochamber to keep it in place and breathe in and out slowly 4 times
