Ive found that taken at night my dose causes morning headaches which are not alchol related!!

Taken in the morning with other meds causes no adverse effects, well at least nothing noticable.

I also take steroids & inhaler for copd and Amlodipine for raised BP along with Omeprazole for gut protection.

I was told to take it at night as it would make me ache! It did at first, but only to the extent that I felt as though I had taken exercise - I do wish it had had the same effect on my metabolism! I also take amlodipine, plus rivaroxaban, levothyroxin and metformin, all at different times of day, such a bore! However, they are all doing what they are supposed to, and although my cholesterol is still slightly raised, my general health is better than it's been for years - and I feel wonderful, too!

The NHS website does mention treating the thyroid adequately before taking a statin. Do you monitor your results ?

Doctor does, every year. I have had too many health issues over the last few years, and now I am feeling really well again, I just don't want to know!

You are legally entitled to have hard copies of your test results or obtain on-line access.

Its possible only the TSH was tested which is not a thyroid hormone.

Oh, I know I could - just can't be bothered! I feel fine, and have no idea of probing further. Let sleeping dogs lie!
