Can't win
Hi everyone well it's nearly time to go back to college. Have been on my new inhaler for few weeks and it has really helped can do more than I could before but the downside of this is that even more tired and when fatigue sets in its hard to do anything but rest do others have the same problem.

I’ve just received an nhs emergency identity card through the mail that states that I’m steroid dependent
This has not been discussed with me and I’m quite shocked to realise this (perhaps I’m being naive and it should have been obvious with the amount of
inhalers
I’m on …..sirdupla, spiriva respimat and regular courses of prednisolone I have.) it states on the card I’m at risk of adrenal crisis.

I was switched to Fostair 100/6, 4 puffs a day (& Montelukast) a year ago after a nasty bout of Covid worsened my Asthma, was on Clenil & ventolin for many years before switching. Chest infection
Wrote last week my TSH is 10 ( range 0.01 / 4 ) could this be the reason I am run down feeling low and got another chest infection , on anti biotic’s and two different
inhalers
, I asked the nurse this exact question she said “ don’t think so” and has never heard of hashimotos .

Preventer inhaler having no effect
Hi, I've been taking the preventer Soprobec (beclometasone) for almost two weeks now and it's making zero difference to the amount of times I use the blue Salbutamol reliever, which I take around eight times per day. I've been on the blue for around 30 years and was encouraged to move to the preventer

How to clean a spacer properly?
Hi I’ve been asthmatic for 15 years now and I’ve always just chucked out my spacer and bought a new one after a month. I was told to clean them, and I followed the instructions but the first puff using the “clean” inhaler was horrific- it tasted like I’d inhaled about 100 doses of medication. It really

Impact of reducing Relvar dose
Dear fellow asthma buddies I wonder if I could ask your opinion. With the introduction of Montelukast, I was already taking high dose Relvar and Incruse, my asthma has been wonderfully stable. I have taken my reliever inhaler once a week before my dance class only. I've been walking and dancing without

Newly diagnosed - my story
I was given
inhalers
for asthma and over the months these were up'd to the highest strength steroid
inhalers
the GP could give me, along with oral steroids (x4 courses) and antibiotics (x4 courses) also added Montelukast, avamys (for chronic rhinosinusitis).
