I am on Trelegy Elliot’s which gives me a sore throat. I tried Trimbow which gave me side effects so went back to Trelegy. I’m going to ask for something else without powder, but need some advice.

I am fine on Fostair, Ipratropium bromide and Salmanol. No bad effects.

i am on Trelegy, it’s best to rinse mouth thoroughly and gargle with water after using it. I haven’t had a problem except slight hoarse voice.

I hope you get sorted.

I do gargle and rinse but my throat feels sore and as I’m in a choir I can’t get all the notes. I usually do a solo but daren’t offer this Christmas.

hi, I have just been given Trimbow , just wondering what side effects you had .

My peak flow is going down , so asked the pharmacist for advice .

I tried Fostair before .

I had nausea and headaches and felt generally awful, but I’m sensitive to a lot of meds.

I was just given Breztri. So far so good. My PF went from 41% to 61%, so it is working for me at least. Maybe too early yet to see if any side effects pop up, but so far I have none.

hi Willow, are you in the UK? I can’t find if it’s available here.

I have just been given Breztri but haven’t started it yet. When you mention your PF has gone from 41% to 61% do you mean your PEF (Peak Expiratory Flow) or Pulmonary Function?

Thank you

Pulmonary function.

Thank you for your reply. Do you measure yours yourself and if so what type of device do you have?

I am followed by the pulmonary clinic at a local hospital. I go for my function tests, then I go to the pulmonologist office, and we go through my results.

I've gone back to Fostair Beclametazone, find it is moree effective. Inhalers are usually 2x puffs daily. Do you take yours via a spacer ?? Again I find effective. Good mouth hygiene, warmed honey gargle or a kind mouth wash a few times a day. Although I'm sure you would have tried these
