Traveling and worsening of symptoms
Hi. I’m new to this forum but have had asthma and hyperthyroidism so have been on others. I only recently saw that I have a lot of similar symptoms to CFS so wondering if sometimes it’s that more than asthma and hyperthyroidism causing my health issues. For example, every time I go on an airplane it

Trimbow
So been on Trimble for a few months, prescribed by my Nurse at the G.P. surgery. Constant sore throat and hoarse voice. She is reluctant to take me off it (don't know why). How she wants me to use a spacer thing. Will try that. If I don't get on with that she said come in to see her as it's probably

Some Good News for Those With HF
I hate the term HF as it is not Failure but an Insufficiency and should be called HI! Anyway I was talking to a fairly elderly gentleman a few days ago. He had a major event at the age of 58 which left him with part of the heart muscle dead and a much reduced EF. These days he takes an array of medication

Having issues with relvar ellipta
I started taking relvar ellipta 92/22 5 days ago. The first day I felt great and had no side effects or breathing issues. When I took my second dose the next day I didn't feel like the medication got to my lungs. My tongue was coated with the powder. This has been getting worse each day of taking it.

MY COPD REVIEW - Really.
I went for my 30 minute COPD Review with the nurse. Right - She started talking inhalers - I though "Wait for it) and yes, she said I probably would be better on Trimbow rather than three inhalers. I told her I was happy with Ventalin, Ipratropium bromide and Fostair inhalers., She mentioned Trimbow

Trimbow and Blood Sugar Level
Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a while and now have a question for you. Has anyone found their blood sugar level going up when using a Trimbow inhaler? If yes, what if anything did you do about it? Thanks for listening.

Do I still have asthma?
Hi,I was diagnosed with asthma some ten years ago after having moved to a new environment. During the first winter, we renovated our "new"house (actually some 15 years old). It was a lot of building dust flying about. One morning on awakening, I had trouble breathing so off I went to the hospital

newly diagnosed COPD
Hi I’m new to this forum . I have had asthma for years and at my latest review I had a spirometery test. I was completely floored when the nurse said I had COPD and gave me a leaflet and a new inhaler Anoro Ellipta. my parents were both very heavy smokers but I have never smoked. My dad had emphysema

Consultant wants to take me off inhalers
I had an appointment with my Respiratory Consultant and he's questioning my asthma diagnosis because my last set of breathing tests were normal. He said that you would expect to see something on the tests that indicates asthma and that even though I have a formal asthma diagnosis on my GP records he

2 year old asthma
Hi, it looks as though my little girl has asthma. She has all the symptoms & has already been in hospital 3 times treated for an asthma attack. Because she’s under 5 they are very wary of diagnosing her at the moment, however she does have a brown inhaler which she has before bed & in the morning plus

Blood Tests
Hi, I have weird asthma, am on maximum therapy and wondered what effect high dose antihistamines and prednisolone have on your blood test results. Every time I ask my consultant I'm told it's irrelevant, also is our medication taken into account when we complete breathing tests? The technician who

Pegasys Injection Help
Anyone use insulin needles to inject Pegasys? It appears to be exactly the same other than it says "units" where my prescription calls out "mls". However they both measure out the same. .25ml = 25units Thanks!

Trauma
Hi, to cut long story short. After finding what works finally for my copd I found myself getting out of breath rather than breathless which was brilliant. Then I had covid which was a pain but got over it. Took our dogs for a walk last Friday and the smallest one was attacked by 2 dogs that got out

Still don’t really know if I have asthma or not
Hi, I know I’ve posted similar to this before but I suppose it’s because I don’t know where I stand in terms of breathing/ asthma status I do also have anxiety which I’ve received help for but I still feel on edge with the whole I might have asthma thing. I have had tests which haven’t revealed anything

Do exacerbations follow exacerbations?
Hi all, You may have seen my other thread. I am a man in my early forties and had a rude awakening to asthma with an almost two week hospital stay about 1.5 months ago with lots of mucus in lungs and for one week I was on oxygen. Last week I got a cold which quickly went to my chest leaving me clogged
