Anyone use insulin needles to inject Pegasys? It appears to be exactly the same other than it says "units" where my prescription calls out "mls". However they both measure out the same.
.25ml = 25units
Thanks!

When I was taking Pegasys which came in a vial, it came with two syringes. The smaller of the two was the one I preferred since I was on a lowest does 45mcg/.25ml. I expect these are common syringes used for a number of different medications.
I expect you are right that .25ml = 25units, which you can confirm on a number of sites for folks with diabetes using insulin. myhealth.alberta.ca/Health/... As always, it is best to check with your prescriber or a pharmacist if you have any questions.
All the best.
I think I would be a bit cautious about that...I was always taught to use only the unit syringes for insulin and only the ml syringes for other injections xDefinitely check with a pharmacist x
Hello!I had purchased insulin syringes as I like not only the smaller size, but they do not have the removable Luer Lol needle which traps unadministered fluid in this space. They call it "head loss". They also claim they have more comfortable needles which are coated and marketed as "comfort sharps". Hopefully, your Doctor or Pharmacist approves cause I find it interesting that mine are marked with " for insulin use only" which I cannot imagine why. Let us know what you find out please, thank you!
mine are pre-filled and Individually boxed
