B12 and iron issues
Hi all! I had my 6 week check up with my internal medicine doc and my concern this week was that my iron was borderline (12, range is 11-34). I take 28mg bisglycinate as maintenance but I have had shortness of breath and numbness return with slight anxiety. I am still having 3 injections every week

Vitamin B12 Injections
Hi I am considering self injecting B12. I am currently taking 5mg folate each day as I was diagnosed deficient. I have suffered fatigue for many years and just feel so exhausted today. I am taking oral B12 (the spray) and feel so much better after I have taken it. I don't want to rely on supplements

Vitamin B12 - where in the range should it be?
This is something I haven't properly explored before. Had a full blood count test done at the GP surgery last week and got the result online via the surgery website. I usually copy and paste the results into a Word doc and keep them in a folder which I did last week, but apart from looking at my thyroid

Widening my search: a possible link between B12 deficiency and SIBO ?

B VITAMINS ARE VITAL. I did not recover from Hashi's til I took individual B vitamins
DO YOU REALLY NEED ALL 8 B VITAMINS? Most medical students are taught that people do not need vitamins and supplements. If you eat a balanced diet, they are told, you get all of the nutrients needed. I was told this in medical school and it is still the mantra being disseminated decades later. The

High B12
I’m new ... I just need to know how you feel if you have high B12. It was over 2000 and I am to cut back on my b12 supplements. But I need to know if how I am feeling is because of the high b12.

Will homocysteine blood test be accurate after stopping B12 supplements for only a week?
Hi Everyone! I'm new to the group. I'm in the midst of trying to convince my doctor that I have a B12 deficiency. My B12 blood serum level was in the "normal" range in 2014 and 2016. My peripheral neuropathy has improved greatly since taking subligual B12 for 45 days, averaging 12,000 mcg/day. I'm

Drinkable B12
I want to try my husband on B12 just to see if it helps his constant tiredness - he's been prescribed iron tablets but they seem to be increasing his iron stocks painfully slowly with no improvement in energy levels so far (more than 6 months). My question is, as he's elderly and taking PPIs, would it

There is a treatment
Watching programme on tv about restless legs. Difficult to watch so much suffering. My neurologist is a specialist in sleep disturbances and treats my restless legs with iron tablets. The brain of people with restless legs seems to need more iron which works as a co-enzyme on the dopamine system. The
