Advice on self-injecting
Hi Further to my recent post regarding GP refusing regular B12 injections, I have decided to self-inject going forward. Is anyone able to provide me with advice about this please? I plan to inject once every three months. I have always been prescribed Hydroxocobalamin 1mg in 1ml solution for injection

Drain cycles
A hepatology nurse remarked today that as I was on a 14 day drain cycle ( producing on average 9-10 litres of ascites) and having been put on a 10 day cycle by the consultant I can expect to produce more ascites. The more frequent the drains the more ascites you make if that makes sense. Has anyone else

Do runners need salt.
I carry water for longer runs and on hot days, but I don't add anything to it. In the hope of one day running further I wonder whether I should be adding salt/electrolyte/sodium etc. It seems to be one of those unfounded beliefs out there that it is required, but I don't know how true that is? https

Sodium
Cut that out. It's in every food almost. Liver can't filter it. Just like alcohol when liver damaged. Don't give up. My liver specialist said anything green will filter well and beets but beets r so messy. Hang on xo from boldad

Sodium Docusate
Hi all! We started disimpaction on Tuesday and have been on Movicol 12 sachets for the last 2 days. We've now been prescribed Sodium Docusate as well. I'm not sure if it's a good idea. Anybody have any experience with it at all? Thank you x

Help??
Have taken 3
Imodium
and dioralyte but nothing. As soon as I eat anything it's back out again, it's stopping me doing anything. Will definitely be at the doctors on Monday, but does anyone have any remedies for right now whilst I'm away? 😭😭😭

Salt and sodium?? How can you no if your water intake is doing more damage than good ❤️
So I want to cut not only my sugar out but salt as we all no how both can contribute to AF and high blood pressure. I am so confused because I see that sodium is a name for salt and there is a lot in water 😮 recommend for adults is 6g a day but I am shocked how much is in water and soda water, sparkling

FIVE SURPRISING WAYS YOU COULD BE DAMAGING YOUR KIDNEYS
Once we get told about having CKD our first reaction is often, "WHY?" If we know we have Diabetes and/or High Blood Pressure that somewhat mitigates the reason. However, there are many of us who if we find out that we are prone to getting CKD we could take action to stop or slow it down. It takes

In a bid to lose some weight and battle the bloating feeling I've been getting on a daily basis, I thought I'd give the Keto Diet a go. I have previously completed the FODMAP elimination and reintroduction diet under the direction of a clinical dietician, so have identified my main trigger foods as being
