Constipation

Hi I need some advice please I took 15 mls of sodium picosulfate last night st 10pm , I am suffering with terrible cramps and all that has happened is some watery stuff from back passage. I was expecting to have a good clear out.

I suffer with ibs c and someone on here told me about magnesium tablets just from halland and barratt as apparently people with constipation usually mag deficient.

So i started them and it has sorted me out, i go every morning now and i used to go once a Week if i was lucky.

Plus up ur liquids! Always 2.5 litres if fluid that helps. If ur bowel doesnt have enough fluid it wont make poop ha

Thank you for your quick response. How. Many do you take and how often, do they give you cramps

Nope i have no symptoms just a good 💩in morning. I take about 500-700 mg depends. Its something u have to work up to really to find ur mg u need to work.

Someone on here said 800 but if i took that id never get of toilet.

So find ur limit.

Also the water or drink helps it work so when u take it have a big glass water.

I take 300 in morning and then 300 before bed with water and im good to go soon as i wake

Thank you I will get some, I’m still cramping but nothing is coming out only liquid

Yeh i know that feeling in general laxative and things dont really work they either cramp u or give u the oposite of constipation whereas magnesium tablets just make ur pooing normal!
