Albumin Creatinine Ratio Urine
At his last blood test my husbands Albumine /Creatinine level was 34.5. It is supposed to be under 2. His kidney specialist says it's because he eats too much salt but his sodium levels are always low normal. Can anyone tell me what this high reading means and how can I bring it down. Thanks.

Mistreatment of women by the NHS
I wonder if there will ever be an investigation into the woefully inadequate treatment of hypothyroid patients ( who again are largely female ). Looking at the reports today (into the mesh that was used to repair women's insides, the use of sodium valproate and the Primodos pregnancy test ) and the fact

I was diagnosed with an under active thyroid aged 14 after 4 years of feeling ill and put on 125 mg of levothyroxine. Unfortunately at the same time I was diagnosed with glandular fever. Any other PD people out there...your major PD symptom is toes curling up on both feet
Hi to everyone. I haven't signed in for awhile, so I hope all is well with everyone. The last time I signed in, I was going in for my first colonoscopy (April/May of 2019)...and I am happy to say that I got a clean bill of health for my colon and don't have to go back in for colonoscopy for 10 years

First, a little about me. I am 47 years old and was diagnosed early onset PD at 35 or so. I grew up on a farm in a small town in central FL. I played sports my whole life. Baseball, Wrestling, Softball, and even a little football. I married my high school sweetheart, have a great job, and two sons

Mirena IUD levonorgestrel levels after 6 years?
Hi there, I decided to have the Mirena IUD fitted 6 years ago for the treatment of Endio and will now need this replaced. Does anyone know how the hormonal side of the Mirena works in terms of longevity. ie Should I expect any side effects when this is replaced as the level of levonorgestrel has lessened

Ferrograd C - does it sell in the UK?
Hi all, I’m in the UK for some time and I can feel that my iron is low again (been a continuous issue for years, I know the signs). In Australia I used to take Ferrograd C with fantastic results. Is there an equivalent here? I haven’t come across it. Ferrograd: Each tablet contains: Dried ferrous

Blood results - I don't know what they mean!
Hello everyone, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I have recently been diagnosed with severe auto-immune hypothyroidism for which I have begun treatment. Along with the thyroid bloods there were kidney ones and I was wondering whether they are ok as they are close to the edge of the ranges. Serum

Hi all, I’m a 21 year old female with genetic history of migraines, my grand father had surgery on his brain because of migraines (weird to me), and my aunt has a pseudotumor on the optic nerve. Seeking a salt substitute
Since I went on a low sodium diet due to heart failure and kidney disease, I have been searching for a salt substitute that I like, while avoiding anything with chemical content. I have tried Mrs. Dash table blend, etc., and it's okay but not real satisfactory for me. The best so far appears to be

Thinkin Bout Things, Salt this time
With a bit of time, even things like the COVID virus are accommodated by our fears and broader concerns bubble back up. One of the challenges faced by a lot of people with serious chronic illness is that they are alone physically or emotionally. As I think about these past weeks and staying at home
