Immunotherapy
was my only option and have been doing it since March 2013; in addition, I will be on it along with all my other medications for the rest of my life. I've got some permanent lung damage, nerve damage in my ears, chronic hearing loss because of all the years with no immune system.

The only possibility is
Immunotherapy
but that only represents a 20% chance of an success. I have a appointment on the 2nd Sept. earlier appointment a week ago but was rushed into hospital on the day of this appointment due to my bp going through my boots. Hence revised appointment.

What I learned from today's conference call...
Finally,
immunotherapy
continues to be of great interest, especially: CAR-T cells and checkpoint inhibitors that can benefit certain patients with genetic alterations.

I’m 18 weeks into a clinical trial combining Lynparza/Olaparib and Tecentriq/Atizo
immunotherapy
and my 18 week scan shows my largest liver met (6 cm) has shrunk 20% from 6 weeks ago. The other liver met and bone mets are stable. These are ER+/Her2-.

Chemo will be 3 days in a row every 3 weeks with tecentriq (
immunotherapy
) added in. Has anyone else followed a similar tx plan? How was tx tolerated? How was the response? I am feeling very anxious.

Approved Treatments for Triple Negative MBC Patients
Atezolizumab is an FDA-approved
immunotherapy
drug that works well in combination with chemotherapy. If the cancer progresses, then other single-agent chemotherapy drugs may be considered, or a clinical trial may be an option.

1sr Appointment with Oncologist
If it's a no to
Immunotherapy
I'll need Chemo and
Immunotherapy
, but at least thete's a plan B. In my left lung, where they diagnosed secondaries, he said the "spots" were very unusual in that they had holes in the middle like a polo mint. He said they weren't unheardcof but very rare.
