Hi All, just thought I’d share some good news with you. I’m 18 weeks into a clinical trial combining Lynparza/Olaparib and Tecentriq/Atizo immunotherapy and my 18 week scan shows my largest liver met (6 cm) has shrunk 20% from 6 weeks ago. The other liver met and bone mets are stable. These are ER+/Her2-. My triple neg skin met on my chest is completely gone. The trial is for those with the BRCA mutation, but I understand that Tecentriq has been approved for triple negative MBC. Side effects are minimal and less than ibrance/faslodex that did not work for me. This is the first time any of my mets have shrunk, so needless to say, I am thrilled!

So happy for you you! Thank you for sharing this encouraging news! ❤️🙏❤️
That is wonderful news! I'm really pleased for you.
That is great news! May I ask where your trial is based, or what doctor is behind it? I have the same cancer profile and would love more info. Ibrance didn’t work for me either. My ND oncologist is very optimistic about immunotherapy options. Enjoy this relief!
It’s a trial led by Yale but many NCI organizations are participating across the country. I’m at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Its a phase 2 trial and they are still looking for participants. There are two arms and you are randomly assigned. One is Lynparza only and the other is both drugs. However, if you get Lynparza only, once it stops working, you are eligible for tecentriq. The tecentriq is paid by the trial. You pick up the standard of care for BRCA which is Lynparza. I think you can find the study online at one of the sites listing them.
How exciting for you. Fantastic news 💕
Congratulations! As with all trials, good news for one is good news for all. I am thrilled it is working so we'll.❤️

Great news I am happy for you
Hi, sorry to bump this old thread, it's now Jan 1, 2020. Can you please share how's Tecentriq doing for you at this time? My dear wife is TNBC and may start Tec + Abraxane, I'm trying to find out as much as I can about that combo. Much appreciated.
I recently ended the trial due to progression after 10 months. I had few side effects, so the trial was a positive experience. The really good news is that all of my TNC disappeared. All that is left is 100% ER + 100% PR+ tumors in my liver based on a liver biopsy I had last week. Best wishes on a successful treatment!
