Help - Zytiga (Abiraterone) with Lupron & anything else you would recommend.
There has been some success with head and neck as well a lung cancer, so the the high dose radiation would theoretically kick in the immune system with the
immunotherapy
(Pembrlizumab) and work in conjunction to, maybe be able to reverse cancer growth.

Taken off clinical trial
So I've been taken off the clinical trial I was on (Javellin - caelyx and
immunotherapy
) because it is obviously not working. I started on Carboplatin yesterday. I don't know if this is coincidental, but today I am not feeling pain.

Bad news
So the chance for cure is gone , he said he recommends we try
immunotherapy
combination, he thinks that is all around the best option. I knew this day would likely come but I sincerely wish it would have been later on down the road.

My oncologist recommends
immunotherapy
beginning next week which would consist of 6 sessions, 3 weeks apart. Has anyone out there had this treatment and how did I it turn out? Thank you in advance. Jimpa

Horrible Mouth Sores
Hi ladies I am on a clinical trial having chemo (Caelyx) and
immunotherapy
(Avelumab). I have developed many large canker sores in my mouth that are really painful. It is hard to eat or drink. Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what did you take to relieve the pain? Thanks Kim xx

Paraneoplastic Myopathy
I just finished IV
immunotherapy
with a drug called Ritux and am waiting test results to see if I am in remission. I noticed on my bloodwork paperwork there is an assessment category and the PMR, lymphoma and "paraneoplastic myopathy" is listed too.

First post here! Looking for a bit of advice
I think I need
immunotherapy
treatment, but the allergist seems very reluctant to go down that route (probably because of costs and duration). From what I've read, though, I should be able to get my asthma under control, even if I'm suffering with a dust allergy.

B12 Low Normal (147)
In February I saw my immunology specialist as I've had to stop the
immunotherapy
treatment for dust mite allergy as I was too ill, 2 chest infections, October and November, and then Scarlett fever at the start of January. I can't have the injection if my breathing is poor.

YET ANOTHER NEW THING....ANYONE HAD THIS HAPPEN?
I'm in a clinical trial receiving Caelyx and Avelumab (
immunotherapy
). Yesterday I noticed I had some spotting and again today as well. Not much, actually very, very little, it didn't require using a pad, but it concerns me.

Navelbine tablet form
I was lucky enough to be accepted for
immunotherapy
nivolumab which worked for 12 months with hardly any side effects. Unfortunately 8 weeks ago my liver enzymes shot up so was no longer in the criteria. I've just had scan results and cancer has grown but by very small amount.
