Thomas's asthma is confusing
Well following the results of the RAST blood tests I have no idea what sets Thomas's asthma off. Turns out it was negative to moulds, house dust mites and animal dander. The coeliac screen was negative. Normal immunoglobulin levels, normal c3-c4, normal IgE.. The MRI showed normal intracranial appearance

Where to go now following GP GUESS WORK of M.E.
Following my ridiculous meeting with quack GP today, and being told my TSH OF 2.59 AND BOTTOM OF RANGE t3 and t4 definitely did not represent thyroidism, and it was more likely I had M.E (good call lol) I am a little unsure as to what my next port of call is. He has ordered a lot of new blood test (after

Any advice on Hypogammaglobulinaemia?
I had a hospital consultation with my haematologist today and on the printout of my blood test I notice that I have Hypogammaglobulinaemia. My Haematologist never even mentioned it. We only spoke about my Immunoglobulins which are all low. Any advice here?

New Clinical Trial in UK for refractory/relapsed CLL, using CD19 monoclonal
The main aims of this clinical study are to find out the maximum dose that can be given safely to patients, the potential side effects of the drug and how they can be managed. The study will also look at what happens to Anti-CD19 (DI-B4) inside the body. DI-B4 is a type of drug called an Anti-CD19

Does anyone know of anywhere in the U.S. that performs the indium screening test? My hemo says it's officially "not recommended here.
I had a splenctomy 8 months ago, with no positive results, and now they've discovered an accessory spleen, and want to yank that out too. I've been on various steroids, ivig, rituxan, danazol, and am now approaching the highest dose of nplate, with counts stil hovering at 10 and below, but am not anxious

Immunoglobulin
I have received a letter from my Consultant saying that " Your immunoglobulin levels are slightly low, this will reduce your ability to fight off infections and I would like to refer you to a specialist team in Plymouth" As I have had repeated back to back infections (but then haven't most of us)

Help! Gyno said i should have 3 miscarriages to have aps!
Just posted yesterday a question about getting heparine/ clexane. I was just phoned by the hospital saying they didnt want to treat me as APS since i had a healthy child and after that 2 miscarriages so that wouldn't suffice, since the official diagnosis to receive the diagnosis is to have 3 miscarriages

INR question
Hi everyone. Im in the US and my lab tests never exactly state the ratio.my DRVVT is 27 (range 37-50). Anticardiolipin IgM 14.5 (range0-11). IgG 22.3 (0-23).factor VIII 66.8(50-200).INR .96(.86-1.18) . How do i figure if the inr is ok? The hemotologist was more concerned over the aps than the vonwillebrands

20 mo old diagnosed with ITP
My 20 month old son was diagnosed with ITP a few weeks ago. He had IVIG treatment and we were told this is a common disease and would resolve on its own. Here we are back in the hospital for another IVIG and dangerously low platelets. We are so confused and it's difficult to understand what went wrong
