Not sure how to feel..
But they said as chemo has damaged my husband’s sperm they may do normal IVF or
ICSI
but only decide on the day of fertilisation. I don’t like not knowing as the statistics are then all different. The other thing they said was they will decide on the day whether they will transfer 1 or 2 embryos.

HSG Nightmare
In preparation for my second
ICSI
cycle, I have been doing lots of investigative fertility tests including bloods, scan and an HSG (hysterosalpingogram). I have never been in so much pain. They found the tubes quickly, so it only lasted a few minutes, but afterwards I couldn’t move.

Brief history- I’m 40- never pregnant- unexplained infertility, 3 rounds of ivf/
icsi
- 6 transferred, all negative. ..After a years break we decided to get a different clinics perspective.. (and it happens to be the most expensive london clinic!

ICSI OTD BFN 😢
Unfortunately this mornings test is BFN. Advised to do another test tomorrow but clinic says very unlikely it will change. Brown stuff all day yesterday and today, such a torture 😱. I am very sad but I had a feeling it didn’t work its weird you just know. Managing expectations has helped me overcome

Feeling so rough
This pregnancy is through
icsi
. I’ve never felt this rough through pregnancy before. I don’t have any energy. I’m finding it hard to eat and when I do I just wanna be sick but there’s no sick. I feel drained from head to toe. I’m drinking lots of water but like I say eating isn’t my best hobby.

Feeling so low.
We’ve had four rounds of
icsi
now the last two has ended with a bfp but I’ve miscarried both. I feel as if our time will never come, I am so sad for the baby we lost in August too and with the expected due date coming up in a month or so I’m struggling.

Letting Go.
This is our second unsuccessful
ICSI
cycle and I am 42 so time is already against me. My husband is the strong silent type and I know he is grieving too but he refuses to talk about any of this.

What do I do?
My concern is that they have given me too much meds, my body hasn't even felt a thing and I had better results when I took clomid and a lower dose of menopur (6 eggs collected and 5 fertilised without
icsi
) I had cramping etc on stims.

ICSI : Bleeding 2 days before Testing
I’ve had
ICSI
and currently In the 2WW. Period due today and I am two days away from testing. Like with all periods they always start light and brown exactly what I have seen this evening. if it’s red and in full flow in the morning then it’s game over 😢 how does one sleep now?

Failed ICSI follow up. Any advice?
Hi everyone Back in November, we had our first fresh IVF/
ICSI
. Unfortunately it failed and this afternoon we have our follow up. I’ve tried not to look too much at reasons why it didn’t happen for us, as I have found it pretty overwhelming.

*sensitive*. IVF/ICSI PGD success, birth announcement.
In the end it was our third round of ivf
icsi
which led to this pregnancy... we were lucky enough to get one viable embryo and she implanted.

Shingles!!!
I’m due to start my second round of
ICSI
in January and today I found out that I have shingles 😩. I had a itchy rash for the last week so today I went to see the GP as it’s not going away and they confirmed that I have shingles.

What’s next?
In November I had my first
ICSI
cycle which failed. I got 9 blastocysts and one put back so I have 8 in the freezer. I have an AMH of 43 and PCOS. I have never ever had a positive pregnancy test in over 2 years of trying. And I have never been pregnant before that either!

2nd icsi cycle
Well I've had some ups and downs this time, my OH sperm was not as good as last time which is a shame as he has been trying so hard to improve it. Egg collection was on Wednesday which was excruciating managed to get 9 eggs. Luckily 7 have fertilized and we are now pushing onto blastocyst with a mixed

First post
After endless tests, hospital appointments, 2 unsuccessful rounds of clomid, an op for the hubby, we were referred for IVF/
ICSI
last September. Today we had our nurse/drug appointment - I never thought I’d be so excited to receive so much medication!

Period pain after failed cycle
As if it wasn't enough that I've failed this first round of
ICSI
, my period is really heavy and super painful! The cramps are coming in waves which i usually only get a day before and day of my period. I'm on day 2 and they aren't disappearing. I'm assuming this is to do with the progesterone?

(Warning: Baby picture) Our happy ending
After ttc for a good while, we found out that we’d be extremely unlikely to conceive naturally so went down the route of IVF (
ICSI
). It was a total rollercoaster but we had luck on our side and our first attempt was successful. Here’s Jac! He was born 11.11.2018 3 weeks and a day early at 6lbs.
