Questions for embryologist
Unfortunately even with
icsi
this time, we didn't get fertilisation - embryologist said the cytoplasm looked grainy and after the
icsi
the egg started to implode on itself. We had 1 egg collected a year ago - just ivf - and that didn't fertilise either.

Egg collection today! Really happy!!
The clinic has decided that
ICSI
is the best approach for all of them as we have been trying for so long without success. I don’t want to get ahead of myself as I know a lot can still go wrong so I’m trying to stay grounded.

Failed first cycle - time to count my blessings...
This was our first cycle, using
ICSI
(owing to my age, 39, and my husband having had testicular cancer and chemotherapy). We're both feeling devastated - despite being given a whopping 10% chance of it working, I'd secretly got my hopes up. My Nana always taught me to count my blessings. Here goes!

Clinic Advice
Hello, I have recently had a failed round of
ICSI
and am considering moving clinics. Does anyone have any recent recommendations of London based clinics? Thanks

Enlarged ovaries early pregnancy
I had successful
icsi
with last of injections end of Feb. i had my 7 my early scan last week and the nurse told me I had enlarged ovaries still and to increase water and protein. I’ve had pressure in my abdomen since befor egg collection but definitely think it’s been more uncomfortable recently.

Struggling!
Hi everyone, So my husband & I had the news yesterday that the reason for his azoospermia is due to Y chromosome microdeletion, & our doctor has said there is probably no point going through the sperm extraction process and
ICSI
as he very much doubts there’ll be any decent sperm there, and we’d only

IVF/ICSI March 2019
Me and my husband have been ttc for over 2 years, funding for
ICSI
due to low morphology and low egg reserve. Started treatment in March, had egg collection yesterday, got 12 eggs, 11 fertilised and found out this morning 7 have made it to day 1!

impatiently waiting!
Then we’re going to go through
ICSI
, but of course in the hope they’re able to detect some sperm once they’ve extracted directly from his testicles. I’m getting so impatient now and questioning lots of things including my own fertility.

Myself and my partner have been TTC for 3 years, we are at the end of our
ICSI
journey and find out the weekend if it has worked or not! I am absolutely petrified of getting the results back and just don't know how I will react.

Pregnant with the help of new ICSI method
The first
ICSI
+OE+Mitochondria attempt was negative but after the second one I got BFP and now I am on the 17th week of pregnancy. I am really thankful to God, to my clinic and my DH for support, and, of course, to myself for not giving up!

4time staying positive
I’ve had two fresh
ICSI
cycles and this is my 2nd FET. I had two frozen embryos put back in on the 29th March my test day is 10th April. I’m very nervous and trying to stay positive at the same time. It’s just so hard emotionally as I’m always thinking the worst from previous cycles.

2nd miscarriage, anyone in the same boat??
. 😔 I found out I was pregnant on my 2nd try at
ICSI
but it had come to light that baby measured 5.1mm at 7 week scan. I was told it should be 1cm. Today I had another scan and its 2.5mm, not good. I have decided to stop all medication and let my body react naturally to it.

Second Appointment- Felt like a waste of time and fuel!
We asked my doctor if he needed these tests and she said- what’s the point you need
ICSI
so you need to be referred ASAP! She was also the one that insisted I went back to work so soon as, it’s something I had to get on with.

Am I wrong to be feeling this way
Hey all I haven’t posted in a while as been trying to get my mind and body in a better state as the first
icsi
cycle we went through resulted in a BFN. I have just had a WhatsApp message from my sister in law and it’s a scan as she is now pregnant with her third child.

Sensitive post
Hi all, after our first
icsi
we found out we were pregnant last week. Completely overwhelmed as never thought we would see a bfp. I’m now waiting for my 7 week scan, but I’m wondering if I need any blood tests before?

It only takes one. 💕
So my partner and I had to have the
ICSI
treatment and so this was our first cycle. After egg collection we were left with 7 embryos, 6 to which have been frozen and also had 1 fresh transfer.
