I have done 4
ICSI
cycles now and this was never recommended to me by the private clinic. I was wondering if any of you have tried it and if you think it did help. I have read some things on line and of course there are risks in doing too...

***Sensitive post*** (but a story to hopefully give hope to those with severe endo and low AMH going through IVF)
hydrosalpinx and a frozen pelvis in 2016 after trying to conceive with not even a glimpse of a positive test for a year. 2 laparoscopies (including 1 joint surgery with a bowel surgeon to try and remove some of the endo from my bowel), 3 months of GNRH injections, 2 HSGs, 1 hysteroscopy, 2 rounds of IVF with

No hope left 😪
We’ve had
icsi
, picsi, pimsi , scratch, fresh endometrium after hysteroscope, steroids and aspirin, all the best supplements and followed the ‘it starts with the egg’ book and took DHEA.

5 eggs collected, none of them mature, no fertilisation
Three of them matured in the lab and they did
ICSI
. None of them fertilised. I have low amh and don't get high numbers of eggs. I had 8 days of menopur 450iu. I believe they triggered me too early and did not give me enough stims. Does anyone know where I stand with getting a refund?

Laser assisted Hatching?
After our third
ICSI
that resulted in 8weeks missed miscarriage., we had a D&C and sent the product for karyotyping. The results came back normal. Doctor said it was simply bad luck and we could try another round after 2 months.(My age is 39 & DH is 34 with low sperm count and motility.)

Hello ladies... well I have just got back from our follow up appointment at hammersmith after our 1st failed
icsi
treatment on the NHS. I had a load of questions to ask before we went in but once there all the emotions came flooding back and my mind went blank.

Marriage had ended and frozen embryos were being destroyed after several goes of
icsi
. Fast forward a year later and I am happy with someone else with a beautiful little man of my own (born 13.5.19) I was told I would never have.

Only 1 egg fertilized
So I rec’d the call after EC, only 3 out of 8 eggs were mature and 1 fertilized via
ICSI
.😟 Now Hubbie and I are praying this one embie will hang on for dear life for ET on Monday. Feelings: blessed, scared and nervous. Dreading going back to work tonight as I am still tender.

FET day 6 blastocyst
I’ve just failed
ICSI
on my first go and I have one frozen embryo available. This one is IVF. I’ve just realised that it was a day 6 embryo so probably meant it was slow growing. I have a meeting with my fertility specialist on Wednesday so I will ask more questions then too. Thanks xx

Weird post.. Bare with me
(first
ICSI
was stopped because they found a polyp in my womb) And now everyone is sleeping and I'm sitting here awake. I don't want to sleep, I don't want to accept that this is the last time I'll be drinking. And its not about the drinking..

To have surgery or not
My AMH count was 9.4 I’ve just failed my first cycle of
ICSI
. I have one frozen IVF embryo. The working diagnosis is that I have endometriosis from from my emergency laparoscopy but they weren’t able to remove adhesions at that time. I wonder if I need a routine laparoscopy to “tidy things up”.

Senstive post 12 weeks ❤️ HOPE
It’s take 2 rounds of
icsi
and 4 embryo transfers but we have got this far ❤️ we still have a long way to go every day I’m still grateful but nervous. Keep fighting ladies... whether it’s for your babies through assisted conception or surrogacy/adoption.
