Assisted Hatching

Hi all,

Do you have any experience with Assisted Hatching?

I have done 4 ICSI cycles now and this was never recommended to me by the private clinic. I was wondering if any of you have tried it and if you think it did help. I have read some things on line and of course there are risks in doing too...

Since we are now going for our 5th and final cycle, I wanted to see if this is something worth trying or not

Hey. I was interested as well. Had a chat with my consultant and he said he was one of the first to do assisted hatching in UK years ago. He told me there is no evidence for improving implantation and that's why he wouldn't recommend it. I tend to believe him because would of been an extra added to my treatment and if he thought would make a difference wouldn't say such things. Xxx

I think it's an added extra you don't need. If the egg is healthy and will implant it will do. If I were you, I'd save your money xxx
