Hi ladies, this is my first post in here. Love the forum and all your advises and experience!
I am due to have my transfer next month- Feb. I got 3 frozen embryos- 4AB (day 5, excellent), 4CB(day 6, average), 3CB(day 6, average), ICSI. Its a bit disappointing because I went through a hyper stimulation- from 27 eggs collected we only got 7 embryos and 3 survived. I am certain it was the quality of my eggs (probably due to my thyroid problems and iron deficiency anemia) although we are with male factor. Never mind, after all I am thankful we got 3. I believe we will be successful and I am trying to stay positive, although i am a very negative person...
I got a few questions:
1. The clinic wants to do the natural cycle transfer, they are saying it's better? I do not have problems with my hormones and ovulation (for now), i only got hypothyroidism and i am taking tablets every day. My TSH is 2.2 which should be ok. Do you think natural cycle transfer is the best option for me?
2. If the worst comes to worst (which shouldn't happen) and we need to to use our average embryos, should we transfer it at once or one by one. I am praying I will not need to think on that- ever...
Thank you, ladies and good luck to you all. I believe God is with us every step of the way and we will be all moms very soon

I don’t really have experience with natural cycle transfers but just wanted to wish you best of luck! Don’t forget that grading embryos is not everything. Even the lower grade embryos can be the strongest! Sending lots of love and positive vibes your way! 💕💕💕💕🥰🤞🤞xxx
I can’t help with your second question but I have recently had a natural FET. When the clinic recommended it I was about worried about not having any drugs and also a bit unsure my body would know what to do but they said they had better rates with it so I agreed to give it a try. I haven’t had a medicated FET (just a fresh) so I can’t compare but it was relaxing as far as anything ivf related can be. I only had to go to the clinic a few times and then it was suddenly transfer day, without medication I’ve not had any side effects and all in all whilst it’s always an emotional rollercoaster it certainly hasn’t been much of a physical one. Thankfully it also worked and I got a BFP 😊.
I also take levothyroxine for hypothyroid so that certainly didn’t have any adverse effect.
Sending you so much luck and positive vibes for whichever options you go for ♥️🤞🐾 x
I only had my bloods done this week so not even 5 weeks until the weekend - that’s how recently I had my FET 😂.
I always find most steps in this process are quite scary but it’s only because you care so much. I try to remind myself it’s in the clinics best interest for me to get pregnant (for their stats) so I try to see it as they wouldn’t recommend a certain way of doing things unless they thought it had a good chance of working. Easier said than done sometimes though 🙈 x
Its hard to stay positive after finding out how low is the chance of getting pregnant on the 1st try. But a lot of girls succeed so you never know- like you did It's all in God's hands and your clinic. I'm praying for good and positive results.
How do you feel? What was your reaction when you saw the BFP?
Very pleased but also scared - it doesn’t go away 🙈.
It can be hard when clinics tell you chances but at least you are doing this and moving in the right direction so you have more chance than before.
Keep your positivity up, I’ll be thinking of you x
I’m five months pregnant from our weakest looking very last embryo which was a bc so don’t worry too much about the grading would be my advice and 3 is a good number of blasts 😊 good look and keep thinking positive xx
Hello... I had a natural FET on my first cycle of ivf and I admit i was worried and it felt a little strange not taking any medication. I was worried that my body wouldn’t know what to do! However, I am now nearly 17weeks pregnant ... my clinic said that they see great success with a natural FET and it has obviously worked for me... good luck to you xx
I recently was referred to a gynaecologist as I have fluid on my cavity and she straightway suggested a natural FET for me rather than my original medicated plan because I have regular periods and ovulate. You could still have a trigger injection if you were worried about missing ovulation - this is something my clinic and I will discuss at the time.
Also I have similar graded blastocysts to you. My gynae said to transfer the 4AB alone and my average ones which are 4BC and 5BB transfer together. I do have a day 3 embryo that they will thaw first and try to get to blastocyst stage but if that’s not successful, I’ll be using the 4AB for sure.
