Familiar anxiety - on cusp of 3rd cycle
I'm switching to
ICSI
this round, even though our fertilisation rates are normal, we're looking for any option to up the odds that my smaller number of eggs will produce embryos. Back to the short protocol with the addition of Letrozole from Day 2 (similar to Clomid as I understand).

Appointment with IVF Nurses - ICSI- Should I carry on working in the two week wait?
Hi all, me and my husband have been trying for a baby for 4 years. Next week on the 5th of March is our appointment with the IVF nurses where we will start our injections. Now I work as secondary school teacher and by then (embryo transfer) schools will most probably be open, I have to go up and down

So so sad
Our first round of
ICSI
failed today, after 3 years of trying naturally. I am so so sad, even knowing the odds were less than 50% I just thought it would work for us and we would finally have our Christmas baby.

COMPLETE failure to fertilise with ICSI
Has anybody had any experience with a complete failure to fertilise with
ICSI
? We had IVF last cycle which produced 3 fertilised eggs. Sadly none of those made it to blastocyst, although we did have 1 transferred (BFN) as it wasn't far behind, so we opted to try with
ICSI
this time.

Had a bit of a break
Will start my third round next cycle and doing
ICSI
this time...and I'm also considering egg donation if things go the same as the first two rounds. Trying to stay positive but each day 1 of my cycle still gets to me (like today!)

Endo Scratch tomorrow, what’s it like?
But have had two failed fresh transfers (3 embryos) over 2
icsi
cycles now so they suggested a endometrial scratch before the next transfer in January. This will be my first frozen transfer and my last embryo in storage. What’s the endo scratch like? Does it hurt?

Endometrial shrinkage on day 14
Hello ladies... here i am with 5 failed
ICSI
cycles.. depressed and stressed. However made up my mind for my next cycle since I still have frozen embryos. But this time on day 14 of my cycle was a strange observation.

When will we ever be able to get abroad for IVF round 3? Anyone else feeling stuck
We’ve been TTC for 5 and a half years, done 2 rounds of
ICSI
, the last resulting in a miscarriage in March this year. Nothing frozen from either round to transfer. I work in the NHS and went back to work the week after the miscarriage and have barely stopped since. This year has been exhausting.

ICSI success stories - 8dpt?
I’ve just turned 30 and turned to IVF
ICSI
due to male factor sub-fertility. This is our first cycle. I’ve been so anxious, but really trying to keep myself calm and relaxed. I’m on progesterone and barely have any symptoms of any sorts.

Varicocele
Hi everyone, We've been ttc over 3 years (MFI) and had a failed
icsi
cycle (one fresh fail one frozen) with nothing left in the freezer. We found out my OH had a grade 2 varicocele in his left testicle.

IVF Questions - can you help with the answers!
Hi I’m 41 and this is my first
ICSI
round. We’ve been ttc for over 3 years and had an ectopic this January so we know it can happen albeit unfortunately not as hoped. I’m in the 2ww and feel like I should have more information than I do. I use these forums to try and find the answers!

BFN :( ADVICE PLEASE
This is our first round of IVF/
ICSI
and we put all our hope and faith into this, we didn't even consider it would be negative (not in a naive way, we just remained very positive). Absolutely heartbroken. How long will you have to wait to start round two?

Follow up consultation - really bad!
Basically during the last cycle they could see my eggs were really poor quality and fragmented and also the sperm didn't bind properly during
ICSI

Ivf vs. ICSI
After two failed attempts with ISCI (I have a low AMH and am 43), I have sought the opinion of another FS. He said his protocol would be IVF over ISCI (DH sperm is normal), as ISCI involves piercing the shell of the egg. Has anyone has a better result with the IVF option over ISCI? Thanks!

1 or 2 embryos transferred?
It’s my first
ICSI
cycle and I have 2 frozen blastocysts - 1 is 5BB and the other 4BB. My doctor has asked if I want 1 or both transferred: I am 29, it’s my first round of IVF and will be my first transfer as I didn’t have a fresh transfer after egg collection due to the lining of my womb.

Embryo numbers drop day 1 to day 3.
This time we did long protocol with
icsi
still on gonal f and it seems to be taking a similar route. My AMH is 12.6, I'm 36 with a 5 year old son conceived naturally, so I am secondary infertility, unexplained. Has anyone had any similar results with their day 3 embryos?
