Gyno appointment
Hi all! I have just been for my first gyno appointment where they have said I have endometriosis once again. They want to have me in for a laparoscopy and I have 6 weeks to decide on this. I have 2 questions sorry! They want to do a laparoscopy where they diagnose and remove all in one, how have people

Adenomyosis found on MRI, mirena recommended? surgery?
Anyone with endo also been diagnosed with adenomyosis? I went for my MRI results today and found out, there was also a 4cm mass seen which they said was likely a luteal cyst..I'm having a follow up scan next month to check it. The consultant now wants me to try the mirena coil. Has anyone tried the coil

Why is my copper coil still causing pain?
Hi all, I had my copper coil inserted just over 6 months ago. I have still been having some really painful cramps, just before my period, during it, and just after it. I have no risk of pregnancy and tend to get about 2-3 days of spotting before the heavy period starts. I can't think of any more symptoms

Build up of pain and then a “bloody” explosion!
Like many of you I’ve got constant pain, always right sided from flank to inside thigh, appendix area and lower back. In the last two months the pain has sometimes got that bad that I feel like my insides are about to explode - I thought I was about to lose everything in the M&S food hall queue last

Positive outcome laparoscopy! Endo free
Positive outcome! Just thought I’d give people a bit of Hope really, I first started getting pain back in June after coming off the progesterone only pill and starting the copper coil, I thought the pain was from the coil so went to the clinic to have it checked & they removed it, the pain didn’t stop

ICD has shocked. What now?
My Dad has had an
ICD
for years, but in the early hours of Sunday morning he started to feel dizzy and faint and then his
ICD
triggered. He started to feel better, so didn't go to AandE. His
ICD
is monitored, but only during working hours on weekdays.

What meds have worked for you?
I know we are all different, however, I suffer from Ocd, ptsd, anxiety and depression all due to trauma. My dr wants to add an anti psychotic to the mix to stop my obsessive thinking. What meds have worked for any of you? As I said, I know we are all different....just trying to get an idea. Thank

Ovarian cyst rupture on mirena coil...ouch!
Hi Ladies Two nights ago I had very sudden and severe pain in my abdomen. I could hardly breathe or walk, and felt very nauseous, sweaty etc. I took 800mg of ibuprofen and after about an hour it all calmed down and I basically fell asleep due to the shock of it all and the drugs knocking me out a bit

New & Confused: Any tests to help decide on Lap?
Hi all, Not quite sure how to begin. Have been reading like crazy across forums and also on pubmed, but info/studies are frequently contradictory, controversial and/or limited. I am so confused. I am going to insert my history here, but please feel free to skip ahead to the question. I am not sure how

Anxiety/OCD getting worse!?
I don't understand it. I was doing so well until recently where my anxiety and OCD just got worse. Now I'm starting to believe everything they tell me. :( I don't know whats caused it! Either slight weight gain over the holidays or the near sleep deprivation I had on Monday. Whatever it is its made me

Kyleena coil - 50 days late period/negative preg test.
Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help/wondering if anyone had experienced this... I had the kyleena coil fitted in August. Had pretty bad cramping for maybe 2 weeks after this and some spottting. I got my first period in over 10 months in September and it was heavy, horrendous and lasted for 2

May have endometriosis, mirena coil the only thing offered to help!
I have just come back from the doctors and she said she thinks I could have endometriosis. The treatment option she gave me is the mirena coil apparently that’s what they do now to help calm symptoms. I don’t really want to have the coil. I had a bad experience with the mini pill and this coil also uses

6 months review - No longer in HF
The
ICD
is an insurance policy, he thought the change of it giving me a shock is less than 1%. Came away on cloud 9. I'm actually more emotional after this meeting than I was after my heart attack.

Side affects after Mirena IUD? Feel awful
Hi I was wondering if someone could help 😊 10 days ago I had a Mirena IUD fitted for suspected Endometriosis. It took three IUDs before it worked as the first 2 broke on insertion (assuring) Since then, I’ve really been suffering with extreme fatigue, dizziness, headache along with bloating, severe

Possible PID?
I had the copper coil fitted nearly 2 months ago, all was well but I got a UTI a few days after having it fitted which keeps coming and going! I’m now really worried if I have PID because I know it can affect fertility. Any help would be greatly appreciated! X

Period pain but not where I’d expect it to be!?
I had a mirenacoil fitted by a gynae in May and my periods are very much lighter and the horrendous (but mortal for me) pain has eased a lot. Before having the coil every month my period pain would take over my pelvis and, on the right side, extend up to my ribs, over my hip and around to my back.
