Recommendations for Endometriosis Surgeons in London for The most SEVERE grade 4 endometriosis?

Hi all.

I suffer from grade 4 SEVERE endometriosis which was discovered in 2010. I have had several HUGE Surgeries to remove it including a few with bowel surgeon and bladder surgeon working together joint with my gynaecologist.

I have been on Prostap injections for SEVEN years and Mirena Coil with no one really monitoring me, but I was well.

I had the coil removed and stopped my injection one year ago to Egg collect and now I find myself now with horrific back and ovary pain and apparently I have fluid on my pelvis too (I paid for a private scan)

Can anyone please private message me to my inbox with personal recommendations, for THE BEST private Endometriosis surgeons in London that are excellent with the MOST SEVERE vicious endometriosis?

Hello if you have stage 4 then you must be seen by a bsge centre (even if private they still need to follow the guidelines of a bsge centre).

You can search for the bsge centres online, not all so private and not all are nhs so it would mean checking each to see if they can/will.

Yes unfortunately alot of GPs don't seem to know about this. But if you have confirmed or suspected stage 3 or 4 endo you should only be seen by these centres. The waitlist do tend to be longer but they are specialists gynaecologist who work with other specialists like colorectal surgeons so surgery dates require more people to be available etc.

I wish I could send them to you but unfortunately you cannot ask people to do that as it goes against the forum's privacy guidelines.

Also I read your had no idea endometriosis surgeries should only be performed at BSGE centres and that made me so furious: why hasn't your gynaecologist referred you there? The lack of knowledge among practitioners is what makes women turn to the internet for help and it makes me so mad (sorry for the rant).
