MRI Result: Ovary Stuck to Womb yet gynaecologist says "no active endo"?
Hi everyone, It's been over one month since I was emailed my MRI results. I have yet to speak to my gynecologist to discuss them in depth. I waited a month to speak to my GP and she couldn't answer a single question. I am losing my mind. If anyone can shed any light on the results that would be so

Feeling fed up
I suffer with idiopathic VF and have a S
icd
in place. This has saved my life so many times but this last year my defib has had to shock me about 9 times all correctly. My constant and specialist are at a loss the medication I’m on should be stopping the extra heart beats but aren’t.

Type 1 Brugada Diagnosis
I was admitted to CCU and since had 24/7 monitoring awaiting for a
ICD
to be fitted. I want to make as many people aware of this condition and how important it is to get symtoms checked out, my 3 young children have to be tested now as there is a high chance of it being inherited.

Low heart rate
He has a pacemaker and
ICD
. He takes bisoprolol 2.5mg, Candesartan 32mg and Indapamide 1.5mg. He has been feeling more light headed and dizzy but we put that down to the heat. He has a telephone appointment with his GP at the end of the week and would be grateful for any input. Thank you

Hormones - coil and patch
Has anyone been told to try the coil and the patch. I’m really struggling with endo pains three years after excision surgery and have a mirena coil fitted but have been told to try the patch as well to shut my cycle down. I really had having all these hormones put in my body and worried about the side

Employer not being supportive about endometriosis / invasion of privacy
Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to approach having an employer who is not supportive of endometriosis / treatment, and consistently asking for a lot of detailed medical information? I’m 29, diagnosed with endo at 25. I had a surgery almost immediately after being diagnosed

Stopping Cerazette
First time poster, but I’ve taken many tips from this board so thank you all in advance. 2 years ago I doubled over in agony, eventually got sent to A&E via my GP with suspected appendicitis. Wasn’t appendicitis, it was a haemorrhaging ovarian cyst. Sent home with painkillers, had a couple of scans and

After diagnostic laparoscopy
Hi, I had my laparoscopy 5 weeks ago and have been diagnosed with endo (12 years in the making!!). They inserted a coil at the same time as this. Since then my symptoms and pain have become 10x worse. Has anyone had this? Not sure if it is my body getting used to the coil. But I have been in so

Walking Munro's with an ICD
Hi, Last year I was given an
ICD
implant and wondering how far I can go with exercise. I have tried to get back running, but struggling a bit. My daughter and I used to walk the Munro's in Scotland, but not sure if the distance or altitude is something a bit too much of a challenge.

ADAA Story of Triumph: My Obsessive Life
"In 2006, I was diagnosed with an immune disorder and had a bout of meningitis. After I got sick and started to recover I started getting panic attacks and anxiety. It got so bad I ended up in the mental health section of the VA hospital," Dave explains. "As far as therapy is concerned I have gone through

What to expect at my next appointment?
So I had my first appointment with a nurse at my GP surgery yesterday and hallelujah someone's actually listened to me! She has referred me to gynaecology. She's told me they might do a scan but will probably tell me to go on the coil as the only treatment I'll be offered is hormonal because of my age

Any advice
Hi all, I guess I’m here for some advice or just to know I’m not alone as I feel like I’m completely alone at the moment and either doctors don’t want to help me, or do want to help, but can’t! Bit of back story . . . I have always had awful menstruation pain, resulting in me being prescribed the

Good morning Following a VF arrest about 4 weeks ago I’ve now got an
ICD

Potential ICD
The letter has stated that he's being considered for an
ICD
and he's very stressed about this. Firstly, is there anything he could be doing to improve his ejection fraction or is this something that just reduces in time?
