coil advice
hi there I have hormonal migraines, which are worsening as I go through peri menopause. I am hoping that the mirena coil could help by possibly reducing or stopping my periods (when my headaches are at their worst) One attempt to insert the coil at my GP surgery was traumatic and unsuccessful. I hoped

Mirena and Exercise
Hi all - has anyone experienced bleeding after exercise with the Mirena? I had mines fitted in November after surgery so it might still be settling but I have noticed a pattern that I bleed after I’ve been horse riding - every time now (I have lessons once a week). Hormone Help
Hello all, it’s me again… I’m wondering if anyone can help/provide advice with the contraceptive treatment I’m currently having issue with. Previously I was taking desogestrel back to back no break to stop ovulation. To say this didn’t agree with me would be an understatement, I bled every day and

Mirena Coil Fatigue
Hi all, just looking for some advice or if you have had similar experience. I got diagnosed with acute stage 5 endometriosis in January, and the gynocologist fitted me with the mirena coil. I was told if this did t work I’d have to start HRT for 6-12 months, as you can imagine this was a lot to take

Diagnosed with new non-invasive procedure: Relieved but I feel emotional
I have now been formally diagnosed- I scored 0.90008 out of 1 on my test which means I have a very high After many Gp visits, countless prescriptions of high painkillers, doctors saying it is period pain (no 💩) and my referral pushed for key hole …. I finally have an answer and closer to some physical

Looking for feedback regarding Asymptomatic Afib
I'm fairly new to this forum and I already feel at home. It's very refreshing to find an online community whose members are so kind, understanding and generous. By way of introduction, I'm a 69-year-old male living in Connecticut. My Afib history is as follows: Diagnosed with Afib by PCP - 8/9/

should I seek a third opinion about endo/adeno diagnosis?
I’m just looking for some advice about where I’m at in terms of my endometriosis and adenomyosis diagnoses. Thanks in advance if you read the entire thing! I have struggled with symptoms since I was 13: painful, heavy periods, pain during intercourse, pain during ovulation, sciatic pain, bowel issues

misunderstood peri -menopause treatment
I had a very traumatic experience in my peri menopause. Due to heavy bleeding and clotting in my last 2 years of peri menopause I was hospitalized with an anemia. Given tablets to help stem bleeding and they caused jaundice. Was offered hysteroscopy under NHS however not given the option for sedation

disappointed with symptoms still after 2 surgeries :(
I’ve recently had 2 surgeries, one in January where they removed a small amount of endo and then a more complex surgery 4 weeks after with a specialist endo surgeon. I’m now 5 weeks post op and still suffering. I think my period might be due soon but not sure as the surgeries had messed things up a bit

Chronic Illness Guess Who
Long story short, things have taken a drastic turn. I don't know if it's my Endo causing my health spiral, or a combination what pots or what the fuck going on. Even though the PoTs symptoms I've been experiencing have been going on since I was around 13 (i'm 28 now), in November 2023 they took a nosedive

came off all hormones completely?
Hi I have woken up in unbareable pain this morning and I have been taken off zoladex at the start of the month, and my body has been having hormones in since April 2023 and now I have nothing at all. The gyni said she was going to put me in for a MRI as the pain is in is always the same and it never

Help with first steps
Hi. Firstly wow, this forum is amazing. After nearly 20 years of pain (am now 49) I have finally had a ‘vague’ diagnosis of deep endo following an MRI. The gynae consultant says that the scan shows adhesions fusing my ovaries and uterus but anything other than that would need further investigation

What Now?
So I had my laparoscopy last May, confirmed endo, coil fitted. Pain returned after a few months. In November I was put on Zoladex injections with Tibilone HRT tablets, this helped the pain a lot and reduced it to a few times within the 3 month period of being on it. Now the last 2 weeks the pain has
