The combinations are here...
Taking these results together, the researchers concluded that MRD-guided fixed-duration therapies combining obinutuzumab with venetoclax or
can induce “deep and durable remissions” in patients with high-risk genetics, and these remissions can persist after treatment discontinuation.

Itchy Skin
I was first diagnosed with CLL in December 2009 and have had three lots of treatment; the last being an overdosing
Ibrutinib
which caused itchy hives all over me back.

Parking lot 10, elevator B, floor 8 - venetoclax edition
I am actually low risk for tumor lysis because I have been on
ibrutinib
/acalabrutinib for three years and my tumor burden is low, meaning there are less tumor cells to kill. Acalabrutinib has been working great for me. Then why add venetoclax you might ask?

CD49d
It’s been said that “cd49d + makes it more difficult for
ibrutinib
to do its job,” would this apply to the (BTK) class of treatments (acalabrutinib, etc.)?

Experience with lower dosage of BTK Inhibitors (Ibrutinib, Acalabrutinib, Zanubrutinib)
For those who were initially on lower than the stanrdard dosage of BTK inhibitors, what was your longer term trajectory ? Did it work in lower dosage, or you had eventually to bring it up ?

Advantage of Acalabrutinib over Ibrutinib?
Doc may want my husband to change to Calquence after 7.5 years on ibrutnib, due to afib. What are the advantages of acalabrutinib? Disadvantages? Has anyone else made this transition? How did it go?

Ibrutinib
I have been on
Ibrutinib
now for 3 months, and although my swollen lymph glands have gone down completely, at times I do not feel well. I get headaches and feeling sick every day for a while. I have spoken to my Haematologist about this, and he said this is the side affects.

Restart Ibrutinib 3 days after (still bleeding) tooth extraction?
I'm a CLL patient on
Ibrutinib
for 2 years and doing good. Three days ago I had a molar extraction. My doctor told me to stop
Ibrutinib
3 days before and three days after extraction. I'm at the point where I should start
Ibrutinib
again tonight, but the tooth is still bleeding/oozing.

Ibrutinib - Septrin
One point of conversation was that patients on
Ibrutinib
are now recommended to a received Septrin (cotrimoxazole) or a pentamidine nubliser. Any one else in the UK received the same advice or on Septrin/Cotrimoxazole.

Evushield Approval for IC
Great development for those of us IC as I am since I take
ibrutinib
daily. Selfishly, I admit, I might be able to take an ocean cruise in the spring that we have had planned for 2 years now.

Skin biopsy bleeding
Hi all, I started treatment in April (
Ibrutinib
) and it’s doing what it should do. I had a skin biopsy on my leg on Tuesday with 4 stitches. The wound is still bleeding today 4 days later!! Just a slow bleed but having to change dressings a few times a day!

Neutropenia with venetoclax. Give me information.
I have already been treated with
Ibrutinib
, and my doctor has told me that if neutropenia does not improve, I should transplant it. If you have such experience or knowledge, could you give us some information? In my country, CLL has few cases and the experience of doctors is not high.

Third Pfizer, No Detectable Spike Antibodies
Had third vaccine August 22nd, been on
ibrutinib
for last 16 months. Tested yesterday for spike antibodies. Received negative result today. Well there it is, looks like no antibodies for me, at least while on

Itchy Skin
I’m on
Ibrutinib
, 10 months in. Normal bloods, although platelets have dived from 160 to 111 in a week. Also my Lymphocytes also dropped from 2.7 to 1.8. Recently I had 3 episodes of burning and itchy skin that lasted for few minutes.
