Restart Ibrutinib 3 days after (still bleeding) tooth extraction?
I'm a CLL patient on
Ibrutinib
for 2 years and doing good. Three days ago I had a molar extraction. My doctor told me to stop
Ibrutinib
3 days before and three days after extraction. I'm at the point where I should start
Ibrutinib
again tonight, but the tooth is still bleeding/oozing.

Experience with lower dosage of BTK Inhibitors (Ibrutinib, Acalabrutinib, Zanubrutinib)
For those who were initially on lower than the stanrdard dosage of BTK inhibitors, what was your longer term trajectory ? Did it work in lower dosage, or you had eventually to bring it up ?

Ibrutinib - Septrin
One point of conversation was that patients on
Ibrutinib
are now recommended to a received Septrin (cotrimoxazole) or a pentamidine nubliser. Any one else in the UK received the same advice or on Septrin/Cotrimoxazole.

Evushield Approval for IC
Great development for those of us IC as I am since I take
ibrutinib
daily. Selfishly, I admit, I might be able to take an ocean cruise in the spring that we have had planned for 2 years now.

Third Pfizer, No Detectable Spike Antibodies
Had third vaccine August 22nd, been on
ibrutinib
for last 16 months. Tested yesterday for spike antibodies. Received negative result today. Well there it is, looks like no antibodies for me, at least while on
ibrutinib
.

Skin biopsy bleeding
Hi all, I started treatment in April (
Ibrutinib
) and it’s doing what it should do. I had a skin biopsy on my leg on Tuesday with 4 stitches. The wound is still bleeding today 4 days later!! Just a slow bleed but having to change dressings a few times a day!

Neutropenia with venetoclax. Give me information.
I have already been treated with
Ibrutinib
, and my doctor has told me that if neutropenia does not improve, I should transplant it. If you have such experience or knowledge, could you give us some information? In my country, CLL has few cases and the experience of doctors is not high.

Neutropenia/low ANC and Ibrutinib/BTK Inhibitors
Wondering if anyone knows what the usual treatment is for neutropenia related to
ibrutinib
. I know there is neuplasta. But I thought I saw somewhere that some just hold the
ibrutinib
for a period of time, and restart it without further issues. Thanks for your input.

Itchy Skin
I’m on
Ibrutinib
, 10 months in. Normal bloods, although platelets have dived from 160 to 111 in a week. Also my Lymphocytes also dropped from 2.7 to 1.8. Recently I had 3 episodes of burning and itchy skin that lasted for few minutes.

Is shingrix with live bacteria safe?
I've been on
ibrutinib
420mg/day for almost 3 years, have deletion P17, and my blood tests are very close to normal. I have been approved for the vaccine shot.

IBRUTINIB - Dental implant surgery
Question for CLL’ers being treated with
IBRUTINIB
and needing DENTAL WORK/IMPLANT: I’ve been on Obinutuzumab/
Ibrutinib
clinical trial for two years - and I’m doing well. I am Trisomy 12, unmutated and Notch positive. I need to have a tooth extracted. My DDS insists I use an oral surgeon.

Lisinopril/ Ace Inhibitors and Ibrutinib
Several weeks ago, it was mentioned on HU, that some people were told to stop Ace Inhibitors while on
Ibrutinib
. I am wondering if anyone found out what this was all about?
