Confused after Pre-Op
Instead he sat me down and spoke to me about trying different pills, the coil and if I wanted to I could have a
hysteroscopy
. Obviously this is different to what I was expecting (the gp told me I would have a laparoscopy and what my preop appointment was for!) now I’m really confused.

Am I recovering from Laparoscopy or is my body rejecting the coil?
I recently had a laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
to diagnose whether I had endo, which came back positive. They removed it and in the process put in the coil to help with future periods. This was about 7 weeks ago.

horrible laparoscopy experience. #consent form.
i answered ‘yes for my laparoscopy and am also having a
hysteroscopy
’. to cut a long story short,
hysteroscopy
was not written down on the consent form which i signed. i was so stressed and nervous i didn’t think twice about this - assuming the
hysteroscopy
was an additional ‘minor proceedure’ carried

Pain has really escalated past couple of months
I'm waiting for a
hysteroscopy
and a laparoscopy. The past couple of months my pain has changed. I've been in pretty much constant pain and off work since 25 February and earlier in February I was off for over a week.

Period during Laparoscopy and what pre op should you have?
Hi everyone, I'm due to Laparoscopy and
hysteroscopy
on Tuesday but I've just realise I'm due on my period at the same time, does anyone know if this effects having it done? I'm very irregular so there is a good chance I won't come on. Can I also ask, what pre op are you suppose to have?

Endometrial hyperplasia-Tamoxifen.
On the 1st of March I had a
hysteroscopy
(camera inserted into cervix) to take further samples of this thickening in my uterus that has been seen on ultrasound and MRI.

First period after lap
I had my procedure (laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy
with diathermy and cystectomy) on the 29th of January, bled really lightly for a few days and then stopped and then my actual period started 2 and a half weeks ago.

Sunshine after the rain. Brilliant appointment with our fertility doctor 😊
laparoscopy diagnosis and treatment of endo, I conceived the first cycle afterwards, we lost our precious baby at 4 and half weeks💔, the endo symptoms returning, the scan he ordered the fact he indicated an issue on my scan and refered me to a gynaecologist, who I saw January and decided a laparoscopy,

Bleeding after Hysteroscopy
Hi all, I had my
hysteroscopy
yesterday, it was a little painful at times but they said all looks okay, was able to drain the fluid and took a biopsy. I had little bleeding after it but this morning have woken up with bad cramps and heavy bleeding almost like a period but it’s to early.

Hysteroscopy results - scared, confused, pls help!
However, TVS showed that my endometrial lining is unusually high, and I was recommended for a
hysteroscopy
. They found a polyp which was removed and sent for further testing.

I'm due in hospital on March 26th for a
hysteroscopy
(camera) although I think my period is about to start in the next couple of days. Regular periods since having my son at 39, on and off before then from aged 15.

Suggestions after second failed implantation
I have had a
hysteroscopy
which they did not find anything. I have also had implantation cuts. My husbands sperm had been tested and it came back with great results. The donor eggs we had all made were grade 5aa blastocyst. We have three remaining.

Feeling totally confused
I saw a specialist and she recommended a laparoscopy and cystectomy and a
hysteroscopy
. When I came round from the procedure it transpired it was an endometrial cyst not a simple cyst and that there was “fairly extensive” endometriosis which she had removed along with removing the cyst.

Diagnosed and Lap within a week!
After my first consultation my Dr told me lapatoscopy,
hysteroscopy
, die test to check my tubes and cystectomy were my best options as Im also trying for my first child. Iv always had painful periods but just thought I was unlucky! If I didnt have an MRI for my lower back, Id be none the wiser!

Still trying to stay positive but finding it hard after first round failed IVF
Unfortunately I have had a 5 month wait for a
hysteroscopy
. This has been an emotional rollercoaster and I can honestly say I am finding everything difficult.

21-day long protocol, Buserelin & fluid discovery
My consultant is recommending another
hysteroscopy
(this will be my second, plus a myomectomy to remove other fibroids) under general to have a proper look and take a biopsy.

What a mess!
So my
hysteroscopy
was booked in for today, hubby booked the day off as he knew I was anxious. Got to the appt signed the paper work, continue to answer questions to be told I wasn’t meant to have unprotected sex for 3 weeks before today as my appt fell during my fertile window.

Trying to find the strength to keep going..
Another
hysteroscopy
incoming... So! Four years of monthly heartbreak, compounded by the knowledge that my uterus has some serious attitude, makes for a weary, cynical me.

Lap and Hysteroscopy
Hi guys, I have my first lap and
Hysteroscopy
on Wednesday! I think I’m fairly mentally prepared for the the lap, thanks to you lovely ladies, but I don’t really know what to expect for the
Hysteroscopy
- will they do that under anaesthetic too? Will I go into surgery naked?
