Hi all, I’m 45 (diagnosed with endo at 35) 3 laps later and I’m booked for a
hysterectomy
(taking everything ovaries and all)on 2nd July and I’m interested to hear any positive stories from any ladies who have gone through this.

I had a total
hysterectomy
in September, and I can't imagine why. Could it be there is a new recurrence in my hmm hmm, or could chemo have caused a tiny bleed on my urinary tract? Any thoughts or ideas?

helpful YouTube yoga channel
She has a whole series of gentle yoga specifically for post
hysterectomy
/post abdominal surgery recovery. I have found it helpful and it’s good that it’s very specific. Anyway just wanted to share. I’ll put one link here but she has lots from week 1-12 of recovery building up. hope it helps!

Is my oestrogen high or low?
Hi everyone, I had a full
hysterectomy
two years ago and I've been having a bit of trouble getting my HRT right since. My latest results are attached but I'm confused as to whether my Beta Oestadiol level means my HRT (100mg patches) are working or not?

Deep Infilrative Endometriosis - Recommended Hysterectomy. Age 35.
He has recommended excision and a
hysterectomy
keeping my ovaries. What is everyone's experience of this? I am currently in bed in agony from right under my ribs into my pelvis. Its debilitating and frustrating. I don't know what to do with it. Any advice on the
hysterectomy
would be helpful.

I was meant to be having a
hysterectomy
but because I have a complex medical history. They keep finding excuses not to do the surgery such as can’t have general anaesthetic because of XY and Z and I can’t have pain relief because of XY and Z.

Borderline Ovarian Tumour and Endo diagnosis.
Hi all, I’ve recently had some news that I will need to have a full
hysterectomy
due to a biopsy result from an ovarian cyst I had removed 6 weeks ago. There is the option to keep one ovary for now.

I had a
hysterectomy
with retained ovaries in 2014. I also have lupus and a carrier of haemochromatosis. Gall bladder taken out 15 years ago. Routine rheumatology scans showed fatty liver in 2020. Have eaten healthier since then, but not lost much wright.

Bowel resection with total hysterectomy
I’m seeking advice from anyone who has had to have a bowel resection with a total
hysterectomy
. I’m 48yo and have endo, adeno and fibroids. My endo is stage 4 with my bowel and right ovary stuck to my womb, bits of recto-vaginal area also stuck together.

Stage 4 & POD obliteration
The plan is once we've had our 2 kids (if possible), then to have a full
hysterectomy
so should I just have it now and save some pain?

Anyone under Oxford BSGE ?
Had a full
hysterectomy
and other endo, adeno, fobroids & other endo removal on other organs last year, only for the endo to return. I am a bit worried, and feel I've been left in the lerch!

Bleeding Heavily on Zoladex
I had an abandoned
hysterectomy
last September when they found stage 4 endo. After this I saw an endo specialist privately and he put me on zoladex. I had an MRI which showed a lot of endometriosis which has fused my bowel to my cervix and left ovary.
