Terry’s nails, and not only
Only in Belgium I was diagnosed with Nodular Regenerative liver
Hyperplasia
(NRH) and Non-Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension (NCPH). I read a lot of special medical articles about this conditions and learned that such patients not develop cirrhosis. Unfortunately, doctors do not know this well.

Struggling and has anyone had a scratch before treatment?
I’ve had the go ahead that my
hyperplasia
is not an issue so I can start IVF again. This time the consultant has suggest the short protocol (reckons I will get more good quality embryos) as the long only produced one at the end that was transferred successfully.

I think the following was describing the medial calc sclera. moderate
hyperplasia
, rare small calcification seen at level of internal elastic lumen. Tho DR says I have gca, the biopsy was negative for it.

Aggressive prostate cancer development might be under the regulation of both Tregs and miRNAs
Material and Method:38 prostate cancer patients enrolled within two groups as having Gleason Score up to 7; 8 or more and 19 benign prostate
hyperplasia
(BPH) controls. 12 miRNAs expressions were analyzed by real time PCR from paraffin embedded prostate tissue samples.

5Alpha Reductase Inhibitors in advanced Pca
Reading an old post I noticed that 5ARI's are noted to artificially lower PSA numbers..... Often in men who are using them for BPH. I note also that they are frequently used IN advanced Pca.... Are they useful in lowering actual Testosterone Levels and subsequently PSA in a _ real_ way. I'm a little

Hyperplasia? + Egg donation?
I've now found out that I have
hyperplasia
(but not atypical) and will need the mirena coil (Oh! The irony!) for the next 6 months to calm my endometrium down (thanks estrogen and early perimenopause - yay!).

Hypothyroid - Urged Tamoxifen or Evista to prevent breast cancer
Subsequently, I was diagnosed with a "pre-cancerous condition" -- Atypical Ductal
Hyperplasia
(ADH) via a core-needle biopsy. The next step was a surgical excision of the site.

5ARIs & the PCa Masking issue.
They are used to treat benign prostatic
hyperplasia
(BPH). They do this by inhibiting the aromatization of testosterone [T] to the more potent dihydrotestosterone [DHT]. BPH-related PSA is reduced.

Gum problems & Amlodipine
Hi, my gums have been swelling and bleeding for a few months so I went to the dentist and she’s diagnosed Gingival
hyperplasia
. She asked all about my heart condition and medication. As soon as I mentioned Amlodipine, which Ive been on for 4 months, she said this was a common side effect.

Does this qualify as an oxymoron?
Concerned about the surgeon's recommendation that I take an aromatase inhibitor to reduce the odds of a pre-cancerous condition (atypical ductal
hyperplasia
(ADH)) progressing to breast cancer, I looked up "effect of aromatase inhibitors on thyroid functioning". I'm leaning toward "No, thanks."

Feeling stupid
I didn't think that you could get
hyperplasia
with an implant in situ and was convinced that I have endometrial cancer. I feel like an idiot i've shared my concerns with work and close family.

Ivf again...has anyone else wanted to scream. Anyone had two successful Ivfs?
We have been back to speak to the fertility team and they’ve suggested a scratch for Ivf and for a biopsy to check for
hyperplasia
. Plus last time I only had one embryo and zero frozen after 15 eggs were collected so he’s put me on the short protocol.

Dramatic Recovery In Parkinson’s Patient with Gluten Free Diet
Finally, a duodenal biopsy was performed revealing intestinal characteristics (flattened villi; crypt
hyperplasia
) consistent with celiac disease. As a result, the gastroenterologist prescribed a gluten-free diet.
