Happy Cutie Christmas
Hello everyoneJust popping by to wish you all a Happy and Healthy Christmas as possible. Thought i'd show you these cute 'woolly jumpers' as their newborn lambs on a farm in Surrey. Early ones hence the pullovers!. Its a lovely thought though that Spring is soon as we've just had the shortest day.

Dr recommends Brothers heart failure medicine be withdrawn and he be put on palliative care. Brother refusing.
Brother is paralysed and also has underlying conditions. He was recently diagnosed with severe heart failure. His left ventricle is damaged and he has an EFR of between 20 and 25 percent, though likely at the lower end of that. He has been discharged into his nursing home with a Referral to the heart

Food for thought
So...I have been on high dose prednisone for almost 6 months, along with my 4th shot of Actemra..for PMR and GCA....I started at 60 mg pred., and have been on 35 mg for the last two weeks. Next week I start on 30 mg. So, today I decided to forgo my veggie breakfast and go out with my spouse to a restaurant

Waiting times in hospital dreadful for mum
Hi friends hope you are all keeping strong and hugs to you all. I know I need a big hug. I just wanted to say that mum is due cataracts surgery now in February. Before then we have been going to hospital so they can take images of her eyes. The appointments have been for half ten and eleven in the mornings

Blurred vision with Zanubrutinib (Brukinsa)
I wonder whether anybody who has been taking the recently-approved drug Zanubrutinib (Brukinsa) has experienced blurred vision? I started on the drug two months ago after having been obliged to stop Ibrutinib because it caused an ocular edema, the symptom of which was blurred vision. Now, two months

Has anyone used the medication 'Hyalofemme'
I have been given this product for Vaginal Atrophy and Vaginal dryness. Unlike the 'Yes Vaginal Moisturiser', it claims to repair the skin, and give it back it's own natural moisture. It also says it has been clinically proven to be as effective as hormone cream containing 0.1 % oestriol. Also claims

Eye infection & cold - Sick Day Rules?
I have a nasty eye infection and the doctor has given me antibiotic eye drops and pills, which I have been on for a few days now but they haven’t worked yet. I also have a streaming cold. I was on 4 mg of Pred but following SDR I have been on 10 mg for a few days now. But I am just wondering, if I do

Pregnancy
Hi, I have pigment dispersion syndrome with a small amount damage to my right optic nerve but no change on visual fields on either eye. My pressures are relatively well controlled on latanoprost and dorzolamide. I am planning on trying to get pregnant next year and wondered how others managed their eyes
