Cataract/I-stent post op blurriness

Hello all, I had cataract/I-stent surgery on my right eye November 22nd and it went great. Vision greatly improved and was clear within a few days. I then had the same thing on my left eye on December 13th and my vision has been cloudy/foggy sense then. My doctor says it could take up to 2 - 3 weeks before it clears up. It seems to improve a little and then seems to be back to being foggy again. It also seems worse when it's bright outside. Anyone else experience this with I-stents and if so how long did it take to clear up? Also, is there anything I can do to help it clear up, like diet, special exercises, etc...

Hello. As your doctor has said it can take up to 2-3 weeks to clear and at the moment it is just over a week, you need to give it time to heal. It is strange that two eyes in the same head don't heal at the same time but it happens often. There isn't anything diet wise that will help. Gentle exercise, like walking would be good but not necessarily improve the cloudiness.

If you experience a bad headache, nausea, eye pain or the cloudiness becomes worse, then do contact the hospital or attend the A&E department. For now though let the healing take place.

Hopefully, someone who has had the Istent operation, will be able to give their experience.

it is normal mine took around 10 weeks to clear

Now excellent but diet and exercise can help a lot

Good luck 🇺🇦👍

Thanks for the reply, i'll relax some. My first eye was almost clear the day after the surgery and totally clear in 3 days so that is what I was expecting with the second one.
