Hydroxycarbamide and LDN
Last year, I was diagnosed with Essential Thrombocythemia, for which I am taking
Hydroxycarbamide
(1000 mg daily, continuously). I want to start LDN again. Does anyone have knowledge of any possible interactions between these two?

Ocular hypertension
Ocular hypertension is an eye pressure of greater than 21 mm Hg. Yesterday I found that I had 23 mm Hg eye pressure, and I wonder if it is related to ET or Hydroxyurea? Anyone deal with this? Thank you all.

Hi everyone, My mom who was diagnosed with MNP 2 years ago and has been taking hydroxyurea since then, now has elevated liver enzymes like SGOT and SGPT. Apparently, it has been elevated for the past 6 months. Has anyone here had such an experience? What would be the next step? I know it can be due

Hydroxyurea: how long it takes to reduce platelet level?
I was diagnosed 2 months ago with ET jak 2 positive. My platelet levels have been between 480-550. I am in my mid 70s so the dr started me on baby aspirin and hydroxyurea, for two weeks, every other day. Than she increased the dose the next two weeks, to every day (1 tab 500 mg). I was very interested in the responses to
Hydroxycarbamide
relieving symptoms. I’ve just started, taken 2 pills and hoping it will eventually help headaches and extreme fatigue. Thanks for the feedback. Also is there a better time to take the pills? Night, morning, afternoon?

Hydroxyurea and Zoloft
Hi everyone, Has anyone experienced using hydroxyurea with Zoloft ? Does it have any interaction? My mom is going through anxiety due to some family problems and I was thinking it would be beneficial for her to start using Zoloft to lower her stress level but I’m not sure if it can have any side effect

Are we allowed to take vitamin D supplements alongside medications such as warfarin and hydroxycarbamide?
It seems Vitamin D is being recommended and I wondered if it's safe to take them alongside existing medications? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52371688

I am a 44yr old woman and was diagnosed in February 2020 with essential thrombocythemia even though my bone marrow test and bloodwork said otherwise and no sign of MPN per the pathology report. Severe Tinnitus : hydroxycarbamide vs interferon
Unfortunately both
Hydroxycarbamide
and Interferon might have tinnitus as side effect. My specialist is not sure which one to chose. Is there anyone who has tinnitus which became worse after taking hydroxy or interferon??

'Benefits' of being classified as "extremely vulnerable"
Being just over 70 with ET, slight hypertension and on
Hydroxycarbamide
(5500mg pw) I appear to tick enough boxes to fall into the extremely vulnerable group, although I feel anything but!
