Vulnerability letter Wales

Good morning everyone. I received my vulnerability letter this morning - at last! I live in South Wales and have PV and ET and take hydroxycarbamide and 75mg aspirin. No other health issues and I'm 67 years old.My letter seems to be from the Welsh records rather than via GP or the hospital. Stay safe everyone.

Glad you've received your letter. I live in North Wales and have PV and asthma , but haven't received anything. It may be that I'm not high-risk as only on aspirin and venesection. I would prefer not to be classed as high risk due to other problems it could cause, but then I don't want to be going out shopping etc if I am high risk. Stay safe.

I still haven’t received mine which my consultant was surprised at. He is going to try and find out how to make sure I am included on ‘the list’. I have post ET MF and my white cell count currently is around 2 and on Wednesday last my neutrophils were at 0.6. Not the whole story as far as immunodeficiency goes but it’s not a great picture! I had to venture out for blood transfusion yesterday and when I got in my car I discovered the battery was flat. I asked for help from our local Covid19 support group and they supplied a driver almost immediately. He also collected me 4 hours later. Human kindness has not run dry in this awful situation we find ourselves in. Stay safe everyone
