So frustrated and confused
I was diagnosed with Stage 3/4 endometriosis in December following a laparoscopy. My left ovary is stuck into my bowel. I have had three doses of prostap which has not reduced the pain at all. I have just had a MRI scan which has shown no major endometriosis? but shows that my bowel is still stuck

Is prostap worth it?
Hi, I have been advised to begin a 6 month course of prostap to help my symptoms of endo and fibroids (currently around 5cms). I have heard all the usual horror stories about side effects but I am most terrified about the chance that my periods may not return afterwards and I will struggle to get pregnant

So Frustrated!
Hi there, hope everyone is as well as possible today. I apologise in advance but I'm feeling really low and frustrated today and I can't pinpoint exactly why. The pain is back again, it came on last night while I was at work and it has kept me awake most of the night. I'm back at work today and have

At the end of my tether...
Hi everyone, I've been reading bits on this website since september, when I was diagnosed with endo, and it's been a massive help to me but this week I'm actually about at the end of my tether and decided it might help me to actually get involved rather than just read! So, last year I was in a

The truth is in the medical notes
So, after asking to move hospitals, and finally being successful (see earlier posts) I requested my medical notes and low and behold, you would not believe the amount of things they don't tell you. My GP wrote to my surgeon in 2008 with concerns I had endo, I had 3 different scans that indicated either

I hate justifying myself to friends, family and colleagues....
I am not sure if this link has been posted before but its worth re-posting for all new members and those that haven't come across it. The website is also a favourite too. Basically, it is a letter we can give out to friends and families either ad-hoc or for when we feel we have to justify ourselves.

Help with prostap please.
I'm 3 weeks into my first prostap injection and I will not stop bleeding I've had 1 set of tablets to stop it but they just made me heavier so went on other tablets which stopped it. A week later I'm getting all the pains again and I start to bleed and lose clots again. Is this normal? I was told prostap

Coming off prostap - experiences?
I had my last of 4 monthly prostap injections in January. I felt quite down in the dumps on them. It took a couple of injections to stop everything too. 8 weeks after my last injection pms hit me like a ton of bricks and 3 days later I started my period. I had really bad hot flushes and been sick throughout

About the real me! And a thank you to you all.
Where do I start. I started having joint pain when I was 13 which slowly got worse and spread as I got older to my knees and lower back. When I turned 16 I studied as a chef but unfortunately could not pursue a career in it as my back was so severe I was in agony all the time. By then I was 19 going

Apologies and my endo story
I must apologise for the hurt and upset caused by my recent post on loving yourself. I understand that the way I introduced the subject by how you would treat a child was insensitive to women facing childless and for this I am very sorry. I have deleted the post. I was diagnosed with endometriosis

Can the endo diet prevent the need for pelvic clearance?! I'm in the need for some good news and a hug!
Hi all, I'm 37 with stage 4 endo, I'm very lucky and have a little girl who is 3 and we've been trying to conceive again for the last 2 years. I had a lap in the summer which found that my endo was basically everywhere sticking everything together. After a 6 month course of prostap and livial, I
