I’ve recently found out I have genital herpes and I’m due to have a FET in April. Has anyone else got HSV and doing IVF? Did you take an antiviral before the FET to reduce chances of an outbreak? Would they effect your response the the medication? Thank you!

I have had herpes for about 10 years. I have noticed more outbreaks during stims. I've already had 2 failed transfers and am worried both that having herpes and /or taking acyclovir will affect implantation for my last transfer.

around 30. my oncologist hasn't said much about the fluctuations, which have gone up to 50 on occasion. so when i went to see my GP who worked in oncology in another country, told me that i have mild fatty liver, i was shocked as i was obviously unaware of this. i'm currently on daily Valtrex 500 MG for herpes

I have read a few American articles that have noted Herpes Simplex Virus type 1 causing Hepatitis. I was diagnosed with genital HSV-1 about 10 years ago. I had a genital outbreak but, I believe I caught the virus many years ago without any symptoms.

In the end I went to sexual health clinic just to rule out any STI even though I have not been sexually active for 3 years and never been diagnosed with an STI previously Dr’s kept saying oh it could be herpes so I wanted no matter how humiliating to rule that out. Tests all negative for STI.

I am 32M , and have not been diagnosed with herpes in the past. I had a skin tag just below my anus, which I accidentally scratched off believe it or not. It left a pretty big open wound, that of course bled and was slightly painful.
