I have had burning pain on and off on just one side of genital area, not inside for about a year. I almost feel like it was brought on by having a Brazilian wax and activating a herpes actually from over 30 years ago.. Anyway, this past year I have been given every cream to try. Currently using a combo of baclofen/amitrip/ and gabopentin.. Has helped somewhat .But just had my first week of pain free mainly it seems from a suggestion of someone on here saying take D manno .. wow, it just seems to help neutralize my urine, creating no acid ,and less burn.. I feel a 1000 times better.. I hope this helps someone out there too. So Thank you ,thank you, hope this continues ..

hi, I’ve just been diagnosed with Vulvodynia after suffering for 2 years. I’ve never heard of D manno!!! I’m on Duluxetine/ Oxybutnin and codine. They took me off amatriptyline coz I was crying all the time/ having nightmares!!!

I've never heard of D Manno. I looked it up and found D Mannose, I presume it's that as that's for urinary issues?I think most of my vulvodynia pain is triggered by my urine on my vulva so I try to wash it every time, but I still have pain even though that helps. I'm on gabapentin which kills the pain after an hour usually although often it takes another dose then, and that works in minutes!

I will look for D Mannose, thanks for thd tip!
