Long overdue, concerned update..
The flutters started shortly after I was told about my job and after I had a
Hernia
repair
operation. Is this something to be expected? The EP said it would probably return at some point, but 20 months it toooo soon!! Stay well Styggy...

Has anyone had hiatus Hernia repair operation to help asthma?
I’ve to have an operation next month to
repair
my hiatus
hernia
and wondered if anyone could share how they recover after the op and if their asthma improved. I’ve read that reflux can be a big contributor to asthma attacks

Healing ridge after hernia repair
a week ago I had surgery to
repair
an inguinal
hernia
. In the past few days I’ve noticed that there is a hard swelling underneath the scar. Reading up online it sounds like it could be a “healing ridge”. Has anyone else encountered this and what does it feel like?

Post-hernia swelling
So, I’m a week after an inguinal
hernia
repair
with mesh. They opened me up with a baseball bat according to the bruising. I still have a lot of swelling around the area, is this normal?

Anyone else struggling on newer Thiroyd NDT batches?
I am not sure if it is just everything that has happened to my body this year (hysterectomy that led to severe internal bleeding, sepsis, then septic shock and a 2nd
repair
surgery in February; incisions
hernia
surgically repaired in May; sinus/throat, and chest infections in October to November) or

Inguinal Hernia Operation with AFIB
Hi All I had a date in August for a procedure for
repair
of an inguinal
hernia
. The hospital have put my operation on hold because of my AFI. They are too concerned about the risks involved in such an operation.

Lupus and Fibromalgyia
I have had many surgeries inc spinal fusion,
hernia
repair
(x2). Ileo cystoplasty and many other smaller procedures. In a way I'm hoping they find something because my fibromalgyia is uncontrollable right now. I can't seem to find the right medication for me.

Coming Up To 2 Years Post Transplant
On March 23rd this year I had a very large incisional
hernia
repair
. Unfortunately I bled from the operation and I had to be operated on again within 48 hours which was basically another life saving operation. I have mesh on my entire right hand side of my stomach.

Coming home from hospital today!
I had my Gastric Bypass and
hernia
repair
on Sunday. During surgery I did not go into AF.... I’m now back on all my drugs but have to crush them for 6 weeks!! Heart seems to have withstood the surgery upheaval so I’m pleased... cautiously pleased!

Incisional Hernia .... any happy repair stories?
Hello All, So my weird shaped belly that has becoming more pronounced these last 3 months turns out to be another incisional hernia from July 2018 surgery. And now I'm trying to gather as much info re repair advice, particularly with mesh. I only found out about it last week at my 3 monthly checkup

How my AF started...
I’ve been on the waiting list for a
hernia
repair
and revision to gastric bypass for over a year now. My Dad had AF and died of a brain bleed last March. About 3 ago after a drinking session and a McDonald’s on the way home, I was sick.

First Appointment
After finding a lump 7 years ago, I was diagnosed with a
hernia
. So I first had “
Hernia
repair
” surgery. and then when they realised it wasn’t a
hernia
, they then decided it was a Granuloma. I had a second surgery to remove this, and it was sent off for testing.
