Hepatitis. Do you always have it?
When I was very ill in hospital I was diagnosed with alcoholic hepatitis. It's now been 2 years and I've been very lucky with my health despite having chronic cirrhosis. What I was wondering is do I still have hepatitis or will I be all clear after treatment. Also if I have a new liver and remain sober

Here I am again...
As most of you know, my husband had his liver transplant Christmas Eve 2014. Things were looking great until a few weeks ago - he started getting severe itching all over... I took him into A and E and he was seen by the Liver Reg. An US scan showed no blockage in the blood flow to and from the liver.

IF YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT.. BEFORE PD, I WAS A CHEESE BURGER.
from my blog https://diaryofamadparkie.wordpress.com/ It has been said “You are what you eat” and it may be true. New research in mice suggests. upon aging, a high-fat diet significantly accelerated the onset of neurological symptoms in mice that were genetically predisposed to develop Parkinson’s

Does anyone have experiences with Rituximab?
So I've been having IVIg on and off for the last 8 months and while it works well for me it's really difficult to make the whole week off college and work fit (and I know it'll make keeping a career difficult). My rheumy has suggested Rituximab as an alternative so that she can also get me off the godforsaken

What happens when u go on holidays and your body get some sun ?
Every time I go on holidays, the swelling on my affected left arm and left hand decreases by 50%. I don't have this need to wear my garment. I am starting to wonder if my lymphedema is not due to a lack of vitamin E and lack of light as I live in Ireland. Anybody experiences the same?
