"£21m for dementia check?"
This was a 'Pulse' headline. Unfortunately, I can't access what it's about or what DES means: " £21m for a dementia check? I'll take this one for the team " "Dr Tony Copperfield on a calculation that makes the dementia DES a lot more palatable." http://www.pulsetoday.co.uk/views/blogs/copperfield/

Hopefully on my way to being cured of Hep C
Hi there. I started the new treatment (Sofosbubir/Ledipasvir and Ribavirin) for Hep C two weeks ago and up to now feeling fine. Had no side affects and I am feeling a lot better. Whether this is because I have told myself I am going to get better I don't know. Had my liver transplant in Aug 2013 and

Too many unaware they carry hepatitis C virus
Risk factors among hep C cases reported to the Health Department include tattoos, multiple sexual partners, intravenous drug use, and exposure through medical or dental procedures. Black men are at more risk than white men, and men are at more risk than women. About 50 to 75 percent of the people infected

Has anyone here had a Vitamin A or a Vitamin E deficiency?
I've been having quite a few medical investigations recently which so far has found a vitamin b12 deficiency and vitamin d deficiency. My ferritin was borderline but apparently my iron saturation was high? ... I'm leaving that fight for another day. Treating the b12 and d has helped my symptoms quite

Start all over again
well it is just after 8pm here in Oz and I just had a call from rheumatology to say stop taking imuran as my liver test came back and they have gone from 240 to 860 in the last few weeks. So now the good news is I have to start the three month wait again to be eligible for biologics on something new.
