Hi all! Looking for some advice, I was diagnosed with Aih last year but liver results are still elevated so docs have decided too put me on Bude, they say it has less side effects, any advice is grateful.

Sedation for Covid vaccine
My son is autistic and although invited to have flu jab every year, he has never ever had it due to his fear of needles. To give some back ground to his fear, a dental procedure where a needle was needed resulted in months of trying, passing him from one dentist to another, to a specialist surgery, then

Vodder or Leduc - which is best?
I have eventually found a a lymph drainage therapist, having not had any MLD for over a year due to my usual therapist retiring and the various lockdowns. I have always had Vodder treatment previously, with an hour's massage starting at the neck. When I saw my new therapist yesterday she said she followed

Active b12 vs total b12
I had some vitamins and minerals tested, and my active b12 came back as 46.6 pmol/l with range of 37.5 to 188. I can't find much info on the active b12 test. Or what optimal should be, only the total b12 test. My folate is also low at 7.59 nmol. I've had two years of increasing neurological symptoms,

Possible depletion of other forms of vitamin b
I was wondering if anyone has researched any link with depletion of any of the other forms of Vitamin b. For example, b 2? We know we have a vitamin B12 deficiency. Lots on here (myself included) also have low b9 (folate). Given the fact that many of us still feel major fatigue, despite being treated

Can hypothyroidism cause bladder irritation, smelly urine?
So sensitive subject... I had a water infection or so I thought(again!) and went to the doctors leukocytes were detected and it was sent off to the labs. Pressure in my bladder persisted but according to the receptionist the following week when I rang as I suffered in silence my notes were messaged

financial help
My son has been diagnosed with autoimmune hepatitis and is being treated with steroids, he's staying off work until the new year but will probably only be able to work 3 days a week due to his energy levels being quite low... would he be able to get any financial benefits such as help with his rent

Thyroid S/ Flu Jab
Hi Guys It's been a long time since I contributed to the site, but have read plenty. I have ran out of my NDT (thyroid S) and still waiting for delivery, I placed the order in June last year. I have another bottle but I seem to remember there was a batch which wasn't quite right, and I know the bottle

Vaccine question for the professionals
I plan to take up the offer of the vaccine when I get it (March for over 60s..IF) but my brother, an orthodontist in the USA has delayed taking it as he remembered the link to flu vaccine in 1976, and some people developed GBS after swine flu vaccination, which was a special flu vaccine for a potential

Thank you lovely people for your answers so far. I know about BGC and what it is usually used for. I am looking for someone who had bladder cancer chemo with it and how it affected them. Thang you

Use of B complex
Hi gang. I read the other day that PWPs are often deficient in several B vitamins. So I went and ordered a B complex from Amazon. I have two issues though that I’d be grateful if anybody could inform me of: firstly, how often? Daily, weekly? Also, there appears to be a school of thought that such a supplement
