The Science is Coming as Fish Says
Just realised I posted on wrong community (LoL.) The AZD5069 and enzaltutamide trial has been widely reported in the UK press. Very small sample size to check the concept but it targets white myeloid blood cells which apparently can fuel tumour growth. The drug combo works is designed to block the CXCR2

pregabalin and iron
Hello, I have tried googling if there is any interaction between pregabalin and iron but can’t find anything. I take an iron tablet due to low iron (morning and it has not helped) but will switch to iron bisglycinate at night after reading posts here. I stop eating at 6:30pm so I can take my pregabalin

Very promising trial!

How long for ANA/ENA results?
I've had quite a few symptoms of what my GP suspects might be a CTD, spanning back about 10 years but lots more cropping up more recently. She's requested (I think) an ANA test and I understand from googling that if the ANA is positive it then gets sent for ENA testing as well? I'm not sure what the

My Mum had stomach cancer and then got another primary in her Oesophagus at the same time. Sadly gone. But I am getting full easy when I eat, pain in stomach, bringing food back

Vitamin/mineral deficiencies
Hi. I've had Pbc for 6 yrs now. Recently I've noticed that I am more fatigued than normal. I asked for my blood results over the last 10 yrs . I noticed a progressive decline in my ferritin levels over the last few yes. I had a vitamin b12 level done recently and it was just above the borderline/normal

May be doing IV chemo for the first time. Need tips - really freaked out!
Hi, so I’ve successfully avoided doing IV chemo since 2019. But due to bone mets I just had hip surgery and the pills I’ve been on are not working. I was told by the surgeon 2 days ago that I need systemic treatment asap or I’ll die. I’m having a petscan tomorrow and depending on how it looks, I’ll

My IBS Team Sheet – 2. Haemorrhoids (How I manage)
I think that having experienced having Haemorrhoids about six years ago that led me to be diagnosed with IBS, the relationship between IBS and Haemorrhoids could be a bit of a Red Herring! To be fair, I have experienced having haemorrhoids once since my first diagnosis, but now that I exercise regular

8CT Scan Protocol
I have SLL, been on BTKs for 2.5 years. I still have a lot of disease symptoms + drug side effects. It's been 2 years since my last CT scan and hematologist wants to do one not because nodes are palpably swollen but because of my anxiety about other symptoms. This doesn't seem reason to expose myself

Curcumin Interactions with Abiraterone
Curcumin has so many good benefits that would help to cope with ADT side effects. Does Curcumin interefers with ADT (Lupron+Zytiga)? Does anyone taking Curcumin while on Hormone Therapy? Please, share the information. Thank you.

Rheuma wants me on alendronate?! What are your t-scores?
So, I saw my new Rheuma for the 2ed time. I was prepared to explain how affull I felt (flair), and why I needed to go back on 10 mg, but I could have saved my breath. He could tell from the way I rose from the chair and walked towards him! "You are not so flying anymore?" he said. So we agreed to go
