15 years ago my husband had 43 radiation treatments after PSA reached 50 & his 3rd biopsy showed 1 core to have cancer., Gleason was 3-3. He has had Lupron injections since then. He was on 250mg of Zytiga with food and 5 mg Prednisone for 3 years until a year ago because PSA was creeping up & he was

Meeting with our oncologist for castrate resistance metastatic prostate cancer
We met with my Dad's MO yesterday. (Diagnosed 10/22 with advanced metastatic cancer, became castrate resistant about a year ago.) He shared that the Xtandi is still blocking some cancer growth, but not all of it. His PSA is 2.8 (currently doubling every four weeks.) His PetScan shows some growth (

Atrial Tachycardia after Ablation
1 week following my PVI ablation, what my EP described as 'typical atrial tachcardia' ocurred, which has now (4 weeks later) become permanent. My HR is between 120 - 130 and will not shift. He says this will need treating with a more straightforward ablation. But I believe this is unlikely until 3 months

new PSA
my PSA rose from .04 in Jan to now .21 so it’s moving up. I assume this is still too low for a scan to determine where pc is at. I was undetected for 2 years after radiation of pelvic area.

Healthy liver to Cirrhosis
Hello, approximately two years ago I was submitted to hospital with Jaundice after a binge drinking session. I was given an Ultrasound, and told that my results were “clear” and that my liver was normal sized and regular in outline. I was released the next day and given a prescription of Thymine .

PSA Bounce After Radiation Therapy
I am trying to understand PSA bounce or change in PSA levels after RT and have found two studies useful. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7465291/ https://www.nature.com/articles/s41391-021-00387-4 Some analysts distinguish between PSA bounce and biological recurrence, and see a possibility

The best advice I can or may ever give to anyone who has Parkinson's especially the newly diagnosed .
The Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's in partnership with Parkinson's Canada has published the Canadian edition of the book "Every Victory Counts". It is my understanding that they have published this book in associations with several national Parkinson's groups and are making it available

Hi. Wondering if anyone on here has had the above diagnosis. The drug involved was Nitrofuratan. The Consultant has told me the scarring will not heal.
