Groin pain from catheter ablation
Harefield hospital carried out an ablation for AF and flutter Jan 2023. There was a black area of my groin/thigh that was black. Since the operation I get a dull inner pain in my thigh going down my leg a few inches. This problem / annoyance does not effect my activities and I am only aware of it when

Heart feels tired. Ramipril increase
What I call 'mud for blood' - I used to get it often when I came out from open
heart
surgery
in 2017, (two patches and a stent fitted). However it faded away over the course of a year and after I returned to work. However it has come back and got worse.

Shortness of breadth
I had open
heart
surgery
8 years ago, I used to have AFIB but a valve replacement resolved it so far. I also have sleep apnea and use a cpap. Recently I have been getting up in the middle of the night once or twice to urinate and I am experiencing shortness of breadth.

Opinions Please
At that time I had open
heart
surgery
and I recovered very well. This time I am being offered the option of a TAVI but am unsure which is the safest and best long term option to go for.

What is a realistic fitness goal?
Hello all, this is my first post. I have had 3 previous heart operations for a repair of truncus arteriosus when I was 13 days old, 8 years old and 27 years old. What is a reasonable, sustainable long-term fitness goal given this background? I can share more details about where I am now if asked. Thank

Post 6 weeks open heart Surgery appointment- what will happen?
I’m about to have my 6 weeks post open
heart
surgery
appointment with my cardiologist surgeon/ team in 2 days time. The hospital haven’t given me any information about what tests or checks they will do apart from bringing my current medicine with me. What should I expect? Thanks!

As far as her
heart
surgery
is concerned her progress appears to be good. It's her legs that are holding her back now. She stopped taking it after speaking to doctor. Just hoping this is the problem.
