Hello, an introduction
Heart
attack Nov22 and had a triple
heart
bypass
two weeks later. Rehab and recovery went very well and was back in work end of Feb23. Took every positive from the negatives and quit smoking (12 months smoke free) wish I'd done it sooner.

Thank you
Having had a
heart
bypass
and a husband who is disabled I find my energy is not good . I’m not bad in the daytime but as soon as I’m horizontal at night it starts when I need sleep . More research needed 😳😳

After Effects from a Triple Heart Bypass
I received one shock and regained consciousness after which I was taken to hospital and on 2nd November 2022 I had a triple
heart
bypass
. I have now mostly recovered from my initial side effects but I still have some that have not subsided or have not been treated, as follows.

Have I Really Got Heart Insufficiency?
Anyway I was at an outpatients when one of the staff (neither a doctor nor a nurse) asked if I had any
heart
problems. When I said I had had a
heart
bypass
they said "That's the reason you have
heart
failure". When questioned further they said that anybody with a heart issue had heart failure.

heart
disease I have been recommended for

waiting for a diagnosis
I have been on statins for years as most of my relatives have died young of
heart
attack and stroke. My sister had to have a
heart
bypass
in her 50’s. Ecg was abnormal so they referred me to cardiology clinic.

Possible carotid artery problem discovered 3 weeks after double heart bypass surgery.
My hubby has been home for 2 weeks after his bypass surgery, and because of an ongoing vision problem, it's now suspected that his carotid artery also has blockage(s) and clots are happening. He's going to have an ultrasound urgently. Poor man, still very much recovering from surgery. Is this familiar

update post quad bypass. and valve
Post up where I had a quadruple
heart
bypass
and a replacement valve. It’s day four and I am in pain on my arm and chest. This is my new horse by a lot of floating in my belly and because I’m constipated. My oxygen is running a little low at 91% so they put me on one or 2% and trying it on and off.

In reply to Amanda with a father who refused a triple
heart
bypass
and has type 2 diabetes. I had a triple
heart
bypass
in 2017 3 months after my wife died.. I do wonder if my wife dying of a brain tumour brought it on.

Heart bypass update - I made it
Following on from my earlier post about my anxiety of having bypass surgery (and the many fantastic replies, advice and stories) I am happy to say my quadruple bypass went ahead on Thursday and was a complete success. Not going to lie, the first couple of days were tough but no where near as hard as
