Hello I was wondering if any advice here ,I had quadruple heart bypass 15 months ago and for few weeks I am suffering from a cold left leg where the vein was harvested for my bypass ,its around where the shin bone is an gets very cold when I'm sitting down or driving I have also noted that it's started

I’ve had a Triple Heart Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair. Before that I had a Lumber Spinal Laminectomy (which only worked for about 4 months). I’ve since also been diagnosed with Heart Failure so pain relief is very difficult. The Spinal Stenosis is now severe all down the Lumbar Region.

im 65 last may i took a bad angina attack that felt like a heart attack, i was diagnosed with unstable Angina, type2 diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, 4 blockages were found on angiogram, they were going to do triple heart bypass but when cardiology team discussed me they decided stents

Morning, I've been browsing on here for a month or so since being put on the waiting list for a quintuple heart bypass. (mid Nov).Ive obviously heard of triple heart bypass but not quintuple, does anyone have any experience of this?

I am 2 months post op, wondering how people have felt both physically and mentally after a bypass I hear people tell me I will be a new man I’m having issues with at present a swollen leg - oedema - struggling to resolve with medicine feeling tired easily following any exertion or exercise

Hello, I am posting because my brother is in hospital after a heart bypass and I am worried. He has a very sharp brain but seems to be finding it hard to express himself. He was due home this weekend but has a cough and fluid on the lung plus a partially deflated lung.

This has been going on for the last 5 years and, unfortunately, in the meantime I had to have a Triple Heart Bypass and Mitral Valve Repair which has now progressed to Heart Failure as a result I’m not able to take normal pain relief.

Any one else struggling with fatigue & breathlessness 2 years after operation ?

He had quadruple heart bypass 11 years ago. In October 2023 he stopped taking his Furosemide- a stupid thing to do as it started off a rollercoaster of health problems, now resulting in this diagnosis. Surgery is not an option, his health is not in a good condition.

My husband had a heart attack in August 2023. When stenting his artery, surgeons said another artery needed attention. They tried to stent 5 days later but couldn't and he was put on the waiting list for a bypass. This is scheduled for mid February. He's only 65, fit - but a Type 1 diabetic. He's terrified

Heart attack Nov22 and had a triple heart bypass two weeks later. Rehab and recovery went very well and was back in work end of Feb23. Took every positive from the negatives and quit smoking (12 months smoke free) wish I'd done it sooner.

My mother had a triple heart bypass 15 years or so ago, and has had 2 angiograms before and I knew that they weren’t the most pleasant of experiences.
