Heart failure, fluid restrictions

Finally managed to sort out my medication, and we have gone on holiday to corfu for 2 weeks though I was very nervous in going our holiday is going really well, we're into our 2nd week and I'm watching my fluid levels though with the heat it's difficult but we're managing, I find sitting upright at all times and bed having plenty of pillows helps really well though my left lung was giving me a good sharp pain this morning but as eased this evening so I have eased off the fluid , now I know about the ice cream and milk it will make a world of difference, Information with heart failure is the key 🔑 makes me wonder why I wasn't told this after my quadruple heart bypass?

Hello, I've only found this info on this site , but with my last two stints in hospital they never counted the milk I had with my frostys in the morning as part of my daily allowance, I would of had two bloody bowls of frosties when I was on 1ltr aday , I was grumpy 😠
