Week 8 Run 1 eventually
Started running with just a little bit of discomfort but after two minutes it was magically gone – or at least bearable - and I was enjoying running alongside a hedgerow of
hawthorn
, birch and hazel in sunshine that was bright but not too warm for comfort and as happy as a pig in the stuff that happy

A Good Day...
But I did take several breaks to wander down the garden to the river...the water is incredibly clear but I didn't see any little fishes...the hazel tree is smothered in catkins and the

Graduation announcement - better late than never?!
I also have a few other things to thank - the distinctive things on runs - you will know them - the big puddles, the little puddles, the remarkably big trees, the remarkably wee trees, the clump of thistles, the white
hawthorn
blossom, the red bin, the corner, the green car, the house with scary dogs

W4R1 almost, and turned into a proper grumpy old soul!
The second run brought me to a narrow track where I was being thwacked on one side by the windblown
Hawthorn
hedge (prickly) and my right side was so close to a double row of barbed wire which I had to avoid as I didn't want to rip my new lightweight kagool At one point a lamb (sheltering from the gale

Embarassing behaviours when running
Ah well, at least it wasn't a
hawthorn
hedge. But I did manage 6.73 Km in 42 mins 19secs. Map my Run tells me that is 9.5Km/hr and my trusty calculator tells me that equates to 63 mins for 10K.

Getting fitter!
Bluebells, primroses, cowslips, chaffinches, long tailed tits, sparrows,
hawthorn
blossom, new growth on the trees. A pity about the hail, still I am pleasantly tired and very pleased with myself!
